Reasons for suicide take various forms. The fact that we can lulz over this probably indicates a few of us believe there are different levels of suicide; at different levels, we won't lulz. I base this on the following reasoning:

And despite all the Big Brother bashing, I'll admit that the US version is one of my favorite shows and I even auditioned for the previous season and made it to round three auditions. But they chose a more interesting gay character (a gay rodeo champion). Hmph.
Suicide over stupid shows aside, 2006 was a pretty good year.
Anyone shallow enough to watche that show deserves to die anyway.

Hanging yourself is one of the worst ways to kill yourself. I never recommend it (that is a story in itself). Because breathing is the most fundamentally vital part of keeping you alive, losing it sets your body into survival mode, and no amount of 'omg my life is terrible because I can't watch BB' will override that.
Basically I'm hinting that the last moments of this girl's life were terrible and she likely very much changed her mind but could not.
