EDIT: I used to be a big user of the PM system, now it's been hurt a bit by MSN, however I still PM with a lot of peeps, okay, well, some peeps. And I mainly use it for not so important EoFF Affairs.

I have got 9799 PMs (including sent PMs) in my folders. I have PMs from at least 645 different members. Each member sends me an average of 8.4 messages, however the median is just 2. I hope these statistics help you achieve great things in your life.
EDIT: When I'm at work I get pretty bored, so I fully encourage people to PM me. Especially around this time of the day.

1000 is a common number. I fail to see the logic behind 1024.
Look it up. It's a common computer number. 1024 is probably more common than 1000.
