I say "What!".
"What the hell do you want, mom?!"
I'm scared of answering the phone :aimblush:. If it's someone I know, I just hit the answer button and wait for them to talk. If it's not, I don't answer at all.
Moment of silence and then '...hello?'. I'm really phone shy!
"moshi moshi?"
"met(with) Dennis van der Voort..."
In the US I said: "Dennis van der Voort speaking."
I mostly just go "Hmm?" or "It's Pontus".
"I'm sorry, the number you have dialed has been disconnected. Please call your phone company for more information. Have a nice day."
"WHAT IT IS?" :choc2:
"hey"
I don't have one :(
"Hello?" and my voice goes like an octave higher and I talk faster, if it's a company or a friend. If it's family, my voice doesn't change.
I say "hullo"
Otherwise I like to answer, "Yo yo gangster flow, What up my homie G?" In which they go "WHAT?!" and I repeat it slower. :D
I rarely answer the phone, but when I do the caller is met with a boring "hello"
"Hell-oh?"
if I know who it is, I might say something, uh, different.
"What...yeah...okay...goodbye."
Molim?
Damn Croatian *shakes fist angrily*
its usually a very lazy 'yello?' cause i hate phones. but if i know who it is, its 'what?'
"Hello!
Is it me you're looking for?"
*holds phone up the speakers which are blasting "Never Gonna Give You Up"*
If they're still there once the song ends I say "Mmmmyello?"
Lamest answer yet.
By picking it up?
OH seriously? I answer my cell phone by checking the caller ID and depending on who is calling answer with a choice phrase from the following:
'Sup
'ello
hey babes
'ello darlin'
what do you want fubar?
what now mum? I know I told her to get smurfed again, what of it she shouldn't ask for money.
hey!
If it's my land line I tend to answer with "Hello" since I don't have caller ID there.
Mr. Burns says Ahoy-hoy. :)
At home: "Hello?"
Cellphone: "Hello, this is David."
At work: "[Company name], this is David."
Keeping it pretty simple generally.
Home: "Tish is pooping right now can I take a message?"
Cell: "What the hell do you want, mom?!"
Work: "Erica Boyer speaking... Oh, Josh <3  you want to replace my computer? <3 Come on over, I'll skip lunch for that ~_^"
I say Hello. Yeah I'm boring.
yello
I say hello if I don't know them, and yello if I'm friends with them. Ahoy-hoy has made appearances.
Call me and find out!

Thus begins the stalking of Marshall Banana by various members of EoFF!
Land line: Hello(?)
Cell:
Someone I know: Hey, Hello?, Yo!, Sup?
Someone I don't know: Hello?
It's probably a sex hotline. I don't trust it.
"Yo bitch" if I know them.
"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii." if I don't.
I've talked to a number of Japanese people on the phone, and none have ever answered with "moshi moshi". If I ever hear that on the phone, I'll probably be immediately and prejudicially biased against the person on the other end, on the basis that they're incurably weea>boo.
I just answer with hello, and then proceed to tell them that I'm not my father/brother because apparently I sound like them both.
If I'm expecting a call, I'll usually answer with "what the hell do you want?" Makes for fun times when it's not the person you were expecting :D
When I answer my cell, it's usually "yello" and I'm not sure why xD

When I call someone I tell them who i am, when someone calls me I wait for them to speak first.
My house phone we just don't answer. We don't have caller ID just an answering machine, so if it's someone we know they're usually like "Helloooo it's me pick up the phooooonnnneeee"
My cell I answer "Hullo?"
"You are the weakest link. Goodbye."
Hello, or hi. Without the questionmark
Talk.
¿Digame?
Hello?
Other end: Hello?
Hello?
Other end: HELLO!?
Hello?

"Fort Wayne City Morgue, you kill 'em, we chill 'em! How may I help you?"
