I didn't even know they sold PS2's anymore.

I've thought for a while about trading in my old one and gamecube and getting one of the slimmer kinds if I get a PS3. I still really like a lot of PS2 games, but having to have room for both PS2 and 3 would be ridiculous.
Well this has been constructive.
Believe me, there are enough people out there who get rid of their PS2s before buying a PS3... only to realize that their PS3 does not play PS2 games. $99 is a good price for the PS2 now.
Really though, they should be directing more of this attention to the PS3.
Getting PS3 on friday, love my old fat PS2 that still runs better than any electronic i've ever owned, though maybe i'll buy a slimline if their so cheap, just because. :P
I heard Sony's strategy is to turn people off the Wii by making the PS2 even cheaper. I don't think they quite understand why the Wii is selling so much but a cheaper PS2 is still awesome. Its one of the greatest systems of all time and every one that is still sold restores my faith in society little by little.
