I dislike taking naps because I'm always more tired after. So I only do it if I'm sick. I did it when I was really bored at college sometimes.
I hate naps. Then I can't sleep at night!
sometimes I take naps in the ME lounge while the jackhammers and statics students buzz with activity around me.
I don't like naps that much either, but when I, on rare occasions, do take short naps the reason usually is because I need the rest to focus on cramming for exams or because uni has taken its toll on me for the day and I need the nap 'cause it feels so darn good afterwards. When I nap I never nap more than an hour. Naps are much needed sometimes and they have been proven to maximize focus and efficiency (usually if taken before any sort of activity). If you're at work, a 10-min nap/rest after lunch will do you wonders~ <3
i hate taking naps cos i feel like im wasting valuable time but i do take them now and again when i really need to
I rarely do it, but these past few months I've been super stressed out and exhausted, so I'm doing it more often. On thursday I took a nap from 3 until 5, and then went to bed at like 8 |:
Naps are nice when there's nothing to do.
Oh I don't do naps, they ruin sleep patterns.
I like sleeping in all its forms.
I don't understand how one can hate naps. :mad2: Have you never just lay on your couch and dozed off? It's awesomeness in relaxation.
I don't like how it feels like I've been asleep for an hour or two when it's only been five minutes S:
naps are in my top 3 favorite things
nah probably top 5
<3 Did you change your post to Spanish for me? Te amo mucho <3<3<3<3
Does it make any sense? I haven't taken Spanish in forever S:
Sure. Yo toqué espaÑol a mi universidad. <3 ((( alt + 164 is like the back button for some reason)))
I used to take naps a lot two years ago in the days when I went to bed at 3am every day and woke up at 6. And that time when I barely ate for a month in freshman year of high school, teehee. Not so much anymore though. Again with the post-nap tiredness as already stated above. But again with the usefulness when one is sick.
No, I don't really like naps these days.
I rarely can nap. I have to be burnt the f*** out. I only got three hours of sleep going into last Friday. I had to be up at five in the morning. I couldn't nap and then I ended up staying up until 2:30a.m on Saturday.
Naps are spectacular, and you should all be ashamed for not employing them more often.
Naps give me the energy to play ALL DAY!
I love naps. I take them sometimes. If I'm REALLY tired, I'll take one otherwise no.
Usually a 15-minute nap is pretty useful for me, but if the nap lasts for over an hour or so, I'll feel totally messed up for a few hours.
Naps got me through University.
Naps are magical.

OLD MEME??/
Regardless, that describes most of my life.
That's the BEST kind of nap. You get plenty of rest and waste no time. I swear time changes when you're asleep. Though I guess it is relative..
I take naps in the evenings so I can stay up late at night. Since night is better than day, and I have to work during the day, its how I compromise to having a night life and a day job :}
I take my naps during class.
If I was taking a course called Industrial Management, I know for sure I'd turn narcoleptic.
I take naps when I'm really tired. I try to refrain from them because when I wake up I'm extremely tired and grouchy, and then I'm unable to fall asleep that night.
If I have an easy 2+ hour test, I'm going to be back in my warm bed 45 minutes in.
When i wa sin college one of my professors gave a lecture on napping. Anything more than 20 min is useless he told us. Thats why when you take a hour nap you feel like garbage cause your body is just ready to sleep then, 20 min and you will feel right as snow
ya i guess less is more
It depends on your body's sleep cycle. However long it lasts in the first couple stages of sleep is what you want. Last thing you want to do is wake up in the middle of a deeper level of sleep. Though since it does cycle, in theory its just as good to wake up right -after- a deep/rem sleep. Which is probably why some of these people are saying they feel great after an hour. And others are saying they feel terrible after an hour. People cycle at different rates. If you can figure out your rate, you wanna wake up in a lighter level of sleep. You can use this method for your nightly sleep too. I think my cycles are about an hour long too 'cause I can get four hours of real sleep in a night and feel fine. But if I get six and a half I feel like crap. And 10-15 minute power naps are pretty good for me. But I like to take a real (deeper) nap when I can
You mean that thing I do during classes? Yea, I do that.
