Ciddies - Speech it up real nice

Want to write an introduction speech to one or more of the ciddies? Here's what you do, in 3 simple steps:

1. Claim the awards you want to present by posting in this thread. Try not picking an award you're a nominee in.
2. Send your speech to Award Guy. Title the PM with the name and number of the award.
3. Post in this thread when you're done writing the speeches so we can keep track of what's going on.

Try aiming at sending the speech by the end of Friday. But it's not too late until the award is presented on Saturday.

I'll invest myself to the standard arrangement: whatever happens to be left 24 hours before the start of the ceremony and the SS Highwind.

Expect big :bou::bou::bou::bou: this year. Like, paradigm-shifting big. I'll do to the recognition of Ciddies what Oppenheimer did to modern warfare.

Bugger. In that case I'm not going to have any time to write the speech. Cut me out, please. :(

All my exams arrrrrrrre this week, so I don't have the available time. I'm reserving the Most Improved Member for the next Ciddies though. :)

It should be noted that a short speech is better than no speech, so if some of these aren't nearing completion by say Thursday then if someone wants to type up some really quick ones then that would be great.

That's a big haul.

Just take two at a time, Garnie, and aim for the lower ones if you intend on doing a lot of speeches rather than doing Best Member/Female/Veteran etc.

If you've just done them all just now, then it's highly likely they're too short, particularly for Best Female and Best Member. ;) Send them in anyway, let AG have a look over them. However, for those two awards don't be offended if someone else has a shot as well... I prefer those ones to be long, and done by someone with a bit of knowledge about all of the members. If possible! Sometimes we just don't get those kind of speeches done for the big awards, so you never know. But if you're wanting to do the shorter style of speeches such as the one Award Guy already has from you, then I'd definitely focus on the awards outside of the top three. Luckily, there are 47 other awards. x)

Keep doing as many as you like, though, particularly the lower ones as they are the ones Award Guy will be revealing first so he will need them to be in so the show can begin...

One of the worst EoFF members must take Best Member. So I'll write a speech for No. 1.
