I don't get to experience True Dark ™ very often, so it's very interesting for me to be able to open my eyes freely but still not be able to see my hand in front of my face. It makes you wonder what's up with the image-noise that one's eyes displays without any outside stimulation.

Since we got hurricane shutters on our house we sometimes like to make it pitch black inside in the middle of the afternoon just because we can.

Night Vision goggles, then walk around your house in black clothes and punch people in the face or trip them :D

Worked pretty well during the last two times the power went out.
