The 2004 Elections. While I had been a member for nearly two and a half years, it was during that time that I really, really started to post a lot and became a part of the EoFF Community. Plus I won that election. I was a member of the Pirate Party, led by the immortal HOOTERS. I won because I wrote a poem describing how Rocky Wrench defeated Repo Man in an epic duel. My poem was like three times as long as anyone else's. One of my lines went, like, "And now, my friends, the fight was won, the battle now had ended | And to the throne of coolest bad guy Rocky Wrench ascended." It was epic.
I won the next year's election, too, with BoB's Newbie Party. I believe those were the last forum-specific elections we've had, right? We started to do them in 2006, but they were cancelled halfway through (democracy my ass). You all did the generalized party elections this year, but those didn't really run specific candidates for specific forums, did you? If so, that means I'm still the ruler of the Lounge. Oh, gosh, that reminds me of a thread. Heehee.
Elections, obviously.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, and for the 2005 Elections I won because I recorded myself singing Del Murder's "Without Spam."
I liked Jess' movie quizzes things. They're fun and they don't require a lot of time and effort from ya.

the old elections were cool when I came up with all the various things candidates had to do, as KB noted above. That is true of other events, like the battle of the bands. the key is getting members to produce silly content!
