Odd decision making methods

Whats the wierdest thing you've ever done to make a decision?

When I was younger, and I had two things to decide between, I would assign the two things in question a 1 or a 2. I would then close my eyes.

You know how after closing your eyes, you will still see traces of light? Well, what the traces look like vary from time to time, and I would determine if the traces of light more closely resembled a 2 or a 1, and that would be my decision.

When I have to decide how many of something I want, whether its how much money i want to take out with me, how much time to put something in the microwave, I go with the amount a actually want (eg 26) then I find the closest perfect power (So i'd go with 25(5^2) or 27(3^3) ) or if that varies too far from what I want i'll go with the closest prime number

I write the choices down on two pieces of paper, and then mail them to myself.

Whichever get's there first, gets chosen.

Flip a coin. I either like the choice and go with it or do the opposite. It just forces a decision. But I lost my lucky coin :(

One time I used a method like -

I'm going to pick a word and see how many words I can think of that rhyme with this word. If the number is even then the answer is ___ and if it's odd then the answer is ___.
