Topics are mildly overrated. I remember everyone always freaking out about everyone posting threads entitled "Hi, I'm new here". Well, here's my "Hi, I'm old here thread". I just wanted to make sure I had my own completely useless, wasteful thread where I make an announcement that I'm here/returned/etc, etc.
Anyways, I see a couple familiar names. How the hell are you guys still posting here? I mean, no disrespect, but what kept you coming back for a half decade?
Hi Chewie. I used to be Hsu and before that Zell 007.
The only thing that keeps me coming back is the sheer entertainment of seeing Loony BoB's sanity slowly erode.
I wonder if you remember me. I doubt it though.
PS the main page is disgusting. There's an ad with a picture of a fat chick holding her flab. Jesus murphy guys what have you done? At least find a Megan Fox ad or something and make money off that. No young gamer wants to come to the page and find a fat chick on the main page. It's frightening and you could be enslaving the dreams of many young gamers.
And I see someone eventually found the Xenogears section that I was making oh so many years ago. I was finished most of it, but I never launched anything. Looks like eventually it got found, finished and released.
So someone tell me the current status of the site. I need to be caught up for four years of disregard. Cid give up the site or what?
Yep. he sold it and then that guy sold it, and the current owners show up to put up ads of fat chicks.

One question that has not really been answered: what in sam's f*** has kept you guys coming back for all these years? I used to love this site and contributing to it back when I was in my early-mid teens. I remember spending an obscene amount of time on here. And hating that BrittK007 he-she idiot. But to think I can come back 5-6 years after my heyday and the same people are posting AS I WRITE, continuously. It's crazy. Never lost the love huh?

Princess Usa.. if my memory serves me correct, when EoFF first brought about the "photo album" idea and members started to post pictures of themselves, she participated in that and was the only halfway decent looking one. It's kinda like playing a classic RPG with no voice-overs. You can make up the voice in your head(or not at all) and it never bothers you. Then they remake the game with voice overs and you're furious at the terrible voices.
Well now substitute rpg characters for fellow internet message board posters. And sub voices for appearance. I guess I rathered it the classic way; with the imagination
It was on that day that I realized I would not be scheduling any dates with people over the internet in my life.
So, Kawaii, what sparked the memories of The Model Citizen. I even forgot about him until you said it.

He's a schoolteacher now. He doesn't really interact with the community directly but he's fairly easy to get a hold of if you check the right places.
He's still a pretty big badass.

Yes yes indeed I am the infamous staff member that was let go and all that other good stuff. I also contributed 90% of the Chrono Cross section (which Britt took credit for), most of the Xenogears and Chrono Trigger and tons of other classic site content. So I guess there is a little give and take.
This site got absolutely ridiculous for a while, and I started a rebellion to maintain everything good that we had grown to love about EoFF! The day I could not fight any longer... I became a martyr and began the legacy as the one Cid's Knight (I was actually an Admin) to be forcefully removed from staff and (I think)banned....
....for posting large and very, very inappropriate pictures(apparently I actually don't even remember what I did to incite mass disgust and hate)
So I'm something of anti-hero, you know. Haha.
ps. for whomever edited the post. No one will get the reference to Chewbacca's wife, so you might as well change it back

Yes he was. I don't remember the specifics of the Dawn Warriors thing but it sounds kinda interesting in retrospect. Woulda been neat if the board split into two opposing yet coexisting sides and members could put the name in their rank.
