Thats right, I want to know what others think of this...
This is by far my favourite gun. Second is the Heckler and Koch USP, but this is way in front of it in my book. This image is the old 1950's model I think.
A few details..
It fires .45 rounds rather than 9mm. Less bullets per magazine but way more firepower.
Replaced by the M9 Berreta in the US Army as the standard side-arm.
And.. what are you favourite guns?

I love guns. I hate what they do and all, but the mechanics behind them is gorgeous. I wish I owned one just so I could look at it. I like old rifles more than modern weapons, but of the moderns I love the P90. That beast is a freaking tech. milestone in my eyes.

I saw and touched a gun only once, even though a lot of my family is on/was on the NYPD. It was at my friend's house, when I was only 6 - his brother had an illegal pistol hidden in the side of his bed. I don't know if it was loaded, or had safety on, but I accidentally touched it and I was terrified. It was real. At the time, because I lived in Queens, which isn't the best area of New York, there were a lot of Ruff McGruff (haha, so vintage) commercials about what to do if you find a gun in your house or a friend's house, and how they were dangerous, so my little girl mind was so frightened.
I haven't ever seen a gun since, gladly. Having a pistol is almost impossible in NY, because of the laws, unless you are a police officer, or transport money/jewels, and I don't live in a backwater area of NY where people have shot guns and other more accessible guns.

Gun have a certain charm to them and I do appreciate antiques guns . However its mostly used for evil rather than against.... And I'm not counting video games!!!

i have a .22 from 1901 its a remington and i think its the new and improved model 11 im not sure though its at my dads house but any ways its in nearly prefect condition and really acurate i looked it up once and it said that it was worth aroun like 800 dollers it a nice .22

Someone on my road lets a pack of beagles run around to hunt things, and they're extremely loud and obnoxious. Still, I don't shoot them. Neighbors' cats come into my yard to fight my old cat and steal his food. Still, I don't shoot them. An evil raccoon comes around, occasionally, and hisses at anyone who looks at it (it also tries to steal my cat's food). Still, I don't shoot it.
