It was an optional question on the EoFF CK competition but I cant be bothered waiting until I get kicked or win (*snicker*) to read everyone's surveys, so what IS your favourite smell?
I answered an old book thats had a sweet beverage spilt on it.

I also enjoy when people drown themselves in Axe after not showering for three weeks and have lots of open sores with bits of gangrene forming around them.
Great now I won't be able to stand up without embarrassing myself.
Ahh thanks for clearing that up for me!!
It now makes perfect sense :)
Women wearing strawberry/vanillary perfumey things. Honest to God, I love that smell so much that I could happily roll around naked in it.
I like freshly cut grass.
Also, I just had mackerel for tea. That is not a good smell.
Money.
The smell of fear
I love the smell of fabric softener ;P
I love the smell of body washes/moisturisers/body rubs that are fruity. Citrus fruits or strawberries. mmmmmmm. :jess:
What the?
Three major ones over here, in order of irresistibility:
1. Lakefront, after a heavy rain. There is really nothing better. I dislike looking back upon my childhood, but this scent is a pleasant, instantaneous rush back to the earliest of my memories, drawing an unbroken line to my present state of mind. I tend to regard the lake less as a nonliving body of water than a constant presence, and in an abstract sense, a third parent, but that is a rant all its own. :erm:
2. Books in various states of mustiness.
3. Artificial vanilla extract. ^_^
I like the smell of matches, I dunno why. Mrs Jiro likes the smell of wet gravel.
Oh, and I second Quin. He knows the score.
Gasoline.
No seriously, i love the smell of fresh gasoline anytime!
also, candy and fast food, freshly baked bread, cakes, freshly shampoo'ed girl hair, n' victory
Video games. This is actually true.
This isn't what I answered in my survey, but the smell of brand new books or DVDs is just wonderful.
I just like the phrase "roll around naked in it". :(
Rain and wet dirt, simple and clean.
I find the smell of cooked apples to be one of the greatest smells ever.
