This isn't a "what's the best class?" thread for FFIX. This is a What class would YOU like to be?

I personally would be a dragoon like freya. I think that's so cool, the whole spear thing. She just seems agile and makes me kinda think of a ninja with a spear!

That or a white mage. I'd love to be a white mage like the ones in IX. I could talk to my Eidolons and other creatures like moogles! Of course i'd have a silly horn, but that could be cool too! Plus i'd be the person to keep around for my totally awesome heals and such.

So yeah what class would you prefer to be if you were an FFIX character?

Of course I have to pick mage. Big powerful spells that destroy an entire area are just too cool.

Dual-wielding short spears would be dealing some serious pain! I like having the option to steal so Zidane's class would be cool. If I could add on to that, it would be dual-wielding and white magic. Bring it!

This is the only FF where I don't want to be a Black mage, then I would stop after a couple years or simply be a doll that serves as a mindless soldier. Thief for this installment! :zidane:

Why? Because Dark Knights have huge MP Pools allowing for more Shock rape and are always an overpowered class.

But they are dragons in this game not dragon knights so :p

If Dragon Knights like Freya are the only ones who equip spears, then I would want to be one of them. Since, y'know, spears are the most powerful weapons in the game.

Meh, only in XII.

Thief would be cool. Not only you can steal and reduce HP at the same time (mug ability), you can call in devastating artillery support by throwing an entire treasure chest at the enemy (Thievery), which does more damage the more you steal.:zidane:

Probably black mage. Casting flare, and randomly making people sleep is badass.
