You know, Rubah didn't make that thread titled "Welcome" for her amusement. She made it because she cares about the people of EoFF, and I think you should acknowledge that.

Seriously though, just read the stickied thread titled "Welcome", and you will learn that this place is for Newbie introductions and game threads(I believe it is an effort to clean up General Chat a bit).
