I'm curious how massive some of our members collections are.
How many hard copies of video games do you own? By hard copies, I mean you own the original hard copy media that the game was distributed on(cartridge, CD, DVD, etc...). No ROMs, copied games from friends, etc... count. No virtual console games from the Wii or other system's equivalent either.
Last I counted, I think I came up with about 170 to 180 games. This was a couple of years ago and since I've mostly stopped trading things in, it's probably up to about 190 to 200 now.
I own 3 PS3, 60+ PS2 games, 20+ PSX games & a hand full of PC titles. I own way to many video games:tongue:
I have only about 40 hard copies - mostly SNES and N64 cartridges.

When I went home to Bermuda for my summer break, I figured I would group up all of the 'last gen' games I could find, stick 'em in an excel spreadsheet and put them in a box. I still had Xbox 1 games lying around in drawers and stuff. So, all of the games in this image I have packed away, with the exception of the top stack of PS2 games that I still have in my 'rotation'. (A keen eye will notice two copies of Zone of the Enders 2 - one is the US version, the other is the JP Special Edition)
Fun fact about the image - the largest stack belongs to the system I got last, the smallest stack belongs to the system I got first. I'm sure I'm missing about 15 games from that 'last gen' pile because I later discovered I had another stash of games.
I have purchased 25 'current gen' console games since I came to Rhode Island last year. This doesn't include handheld games or PS2 games.
Edit: the Xbox pile looks like about 44 games, for an idea of how much is there.
Don't get me started on my handhelds.

If by 'English' you mean 'UK', then no. Anubis SE is exactly the same as the European Version. The Euro version had several improvements/additions over the original US and JP versions. More scenarios, more VR missions, higher difficulty levels, more Orbital Frames to use in Vs mode, stuff like that.

...I actually have 3 copies of Street Fighter.
Last count I made I had over 200 but the exact amount escapes me right now. That was six months ago or more; I've probably added an easy 20 or so since then with at least four more to come by years end.
I would imagine that, if circumstances had been better, I would have 200+ games laying around.
However, I've moved around a LOT, had many of my games stolen or loaned them out never to see them again. I probably have less than 10 laying around right now. ;_;

I lost count but I'm probably going to say 200+ at least.
I'm sure I've purchased/owned around 100 over the years (ie. from NES to SNES to PS1 to PS2 to Xbox 360 + PC games) ... and I've PLAYED an innumerable amount of games ... but, if I were to scrounge, I would probably only come up with about maybe 10 or 15 titles.
I actually have no idea what has happened to all the games I've ever bought, because currently the only games that I know the whereabouts of are my XBox 360 ones because it's the only console I own ... I had a killer PS2 collection at one point. What happened to it? Who knows. I probably pawned it.
Same story. Played many but don't have them. Only stick with a few great titles. But I'm proficient at most the games I play.

80. Give or take a few, because I'm not really sure what PC games I have. I'm not sure how I got this many, because I usually don't have money to buy games. It would be a bigger number if my GBA and games weren't stolen.
Around 50. 30 on ps2, 10 on gba, and 10 on psp. I tend to be waaay too selective
I'm a bad collector. I tend to trade in the games I don't play for new ones. I probably only have about 50-60 games spanning all of my consoles (Every Nintendo console, PS1/PS2, and Xbox 360)-- however, overall, I think collectively I've had anywhere from 200 to 400 games in my life.
About 70-80 in total.
We can't count games we lost can we, because I had a pretty good SNES and N64 collection. Those aside I have four PS1 games, and about 25 PS2 games. I'm glad top hear that i'm not the only one with a small PS3 collection. I only have The Orange Box, Little Big Planet, Street Fighter IV, and Uncharted 2 now.

I have around 40-50 ps1 games, slightly less PS2 games, then by this time I got older and bored of gaming. I've handfuls of games from various other systems including the PS3.

I've mostly sold off all of my N64 and earlier stuff and stick to VC for such things. I do still own a lot of PS1 games and primarily a TON of PC games dating back to the dawn of civilization. Don't really want to think about it so a very rough estimate would be 100 (literally I have boxes of PC games I can't even begin to wrap my brain around).
Among these I own FF I, II, IV, V, and VI many times over (especially I and II). My console/handheld collection is starting to grow significantly now. I've got probably 20 GBA, 15 DS, 10 Wii and 5 PSP, 5 VC with a significant wishlist on IGN that I'm filling in rather quickly. Will probably pick up a PS3 within a month and very quickly fill in some older games along with some new ones. Lately I'm more in a financial situation to have a fairly large amount of disposable income go toward gaming and so even within the last 2 months I've probably picked up 10ish titles and I'm trying to make up for lost time that I spent playing MMOs way too hardcore for the last 5+ years of my life.

Including all my old games I haven't touched in forever (NES, SNES, Sega), I'd say somewhere between 80-120. I am not counting, though.
I have around 15 Snes games still, around 35 ps1 games, 6 gamecube games, 6 Wii games, and around 15 computer games.
Not too bad but could be better ;o
Sadly I lost around 15 Snes games, Lost my Sega games, and like 10 Nes games when I moved from Arizona to Indiana ;_;.
Damn. Most of you have a ton of games. I only have a small amount 'cause I used to trade games after I beat them.

My backloggery says 202, but two of those games were downloaded, and it's not counting most of my SNES and NES collection anyway, so it's somewhere between 200-300.

I didn't realize how many games I wanted until I started actually filling in a wishlist on IGN and on my backloggery. It's nearing 30 games. I'm less worried about the money and more worried about the time. There's just not enough time to stay caught up. It's especially bad with the wealth of releases this October/November.
I'm looking forward to the relative calm from December until March to play my butt off and get caught up.
