I just remembered how weird it is that I share 2/3 of my name with Raistlin and Cid.

Happy birthday, EoFF. You may be a shadow of what you once were, but my life would unquestionably have been radically different without you. And not in a good way.

I was going to say my tribute to RSL was that I didn't contribute to the video in honor of RSL's frustration that we obsessed over him so much and his desire to be a regular member who wasn't idolized, but then I watched the video and saw I did in fact contribute. at least what I sent is obscure and amusing to me, and thus in character.

Also, I was very excited to see RSL's first game at Rio Tinto stadium.

Yeah, the ever-amusing irony was that he hated any sort of public adoration. Except for my "RSL for Admin!" campaign, which he loved (and it worked!). The original RSL Day really horrified him, though was extremely entertaining for the rest of us.

the screenshot of dr_unne_is_gay is epic. Litle Miss Awesome also amusing.

That was a fantastic video. :) And snappy smurfday, EoFF.

My only experience with RSL is receiving a PM from him about ham.

I enjoyed this double-edged sword; it was very sweet and fantastic that we all get along so well, but then it could also be so horrifyingly shameful to acknowledge I know some of you! RSL Day is a wonderful day that reminds us all to keep a little RSL in our hearts because doing so can make the world a better place!

That would be pretty cool, but unfortunately I think they'd want a lot more than that for the place.

I dunno, EoFF (especially the frontsite) doesn't get nearly the traffic it used to. I think Sean originally sold the place for more, but I doubt it's worth much over that amount now.

Apparently. Personally I hope the value of the website gets driven down even further, that way there's more chance of someone who'll actually do something constructive with it buying the place. As it stands it's way overvalued and the only people who are likely to purchase it from the current owners would probably be as clueless and uninvolved as they seem to be. (mind you I've been completely inactive for like a year up until a couple of weeks ago so I could be completely wrong about their current level of activity, but judging from the state of the front site I'd say it's an accurate guess)

I haven't been seriously active in so long, but I'll always remember this place. EoFF helped shape me to who I am now. I remember how excited I was to stay up all night and read threads from eighth grade throughout high school. The names might change but this place has managed to keep the same soul.

I plan on dying before this site does so keep on truckin' EoFF!
