WoW.
I've pretty much lost my dad to Halo 3 and Modern Warfare 2, but at the very least I'm willing to play MW2 with him. I've grown to hate Halo 3 now, especially online multiplayer. smurf that.
I've lost friends to girls, jobs, and moving house. Never once to a game.
One friend (okay, he's a PSN buddy, but a good one) has been pretty much lost into Demon's Souls, he was on New Game++++ and actually got the platinum a couple of days ago. Not long after that he was playing the game again.
IMHO it just shows what a boring friend you are, Yars. ;)

My video games are saying the opposite. They hate my girlfriend because she has stolen me away from them. I'm sitting here with a huge back library of games that I need to play, and no time to play them. With finals coming this week, and then graduation next week, I just don't have time for all of them!

I lost all my college friends to WoW, one high school friend to the Halo series, one friend to the Disgaea series, my GF to my Wii and RO, and I myself have come and gone from the Persona series. Though lately school has stolen me away from all my games. :cry:
