What's everyone super psyched about?
For me, few things have my attention more than No More Heroes 2. It looks like it's really making up for the shortcomings of the first while expanding on all of the crazy :bou::bou::bou::bou: that was amazing before. I just can't wait to find out who all of the new assassins are.
Plus, Travis is like one of the best heroes of all time. He's just awesome.
Hmm... I'd have to say ESPGaluda II Black Label (if it gets a region-free release like Mushihimesama Futari did), Trauma Team, and Pokémon Heart Gold/Soul Silver.

FFXIII is the only game I currently know of coming out in 2010 that I will definitely get. Though I've been very slack on my gaming the past couple of years.
Final Fantasy XIII, God of War III and Bayonetta are the main three for me. :D
There are others though, such as White Knight Chronicles and 3D Dot Heroes, that I am very excited about as well, but will be on the back burner.
Also, why is everyone excited about Heavy Rain? I don't really know much about it but from what I've seen it just looks like another GTA/InFamous/Prototype/Mercenaries.

I'm pretty sure that the only reason not to get excited about The Last Guardian for 2010 is if you don't think it will make it out in 2010. As far as I'm concerned, there is no safer bet for an incredible and innovative gameplay experience than a Fumitu Ueda game.Quote:

Everyone's pretty much named the best games for next year. However, you've all seemed to have missed out Mafia 2. I can't wait for it.
Next year seems like one of the biggest in the past three years. One reason being becuase of the holiday push back delays for games like Bioshock 2 and God of War III.

Edit: Just forgot about Alpha Protocol. Galeesh man. This is ridiculous. I'm having a bit of a worry though with Alpha. For some reason I'm having a small bad vibe from it. I hope it means nothing as it's continuing the new trend with western RPGs.
Resonance Of Fate also looks like it could proove to be an interesting game.

I'm quite interested in Epic Mickey too. The concept looks very promising, and it has Warren Spector behind it (not to mention Spector is a big Disney fan and we finally get to see Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and the Phantom Blot in a game). :)
Haven't really paid much attention to 2010 games lately. Mass Effect 2 and Final Fantasy XIII are my top priorities though. I might look into Dark Void, Alan Wake, and possibly Bayonetta.

I rarely get into games much anymore. But a few things I could look forward to are Final Fantasy XIII, Sonic The Hedgehog 4, and if Saints Row 3 gets released for the holidays. Which unlikely, but possible
Seems like the PS3 is getting some pretty decent games under its belt. Might have to look into that stuff. But then I'd have enough catching up to do to not worry much about upcoming releases

I had a cautious eye on Nier, but really, Square hasn't made a good Action game since Brave Fencer Musashi. It's not that suprising that it didn't turn out so hot.

Interesting to look back at my last, shame I haven't gotten Yakuza 3, White Knight Chronicles, SOCOM FTB3 or even to play FFXIII myself but the games I have gotten have really met my expectations and surpassed them in some cases. There's still a lot to go and the problem of not having a lot of spare cash is going to limit that as it already has, not to mention not having the time to play them. I've also been playing games from last year like Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2, not to mention FFVII, VIII, and Tactics on PSP and starting a new game of Dragon Quest V using a literal japanese translation.Quote:
