How many miles do you typically drive a week? :hux:
I've just gone through a ton of miles since I got back, though it's not been so bad since gas prices have gone down for the winter. When I worked in the summer, I drove about 40 miles every day between commuting and lunch. Ouch!
Maybe 100-200 km's because miles are stupid.
Sometimes more if I have a trip of some kind going on.
I've been clocking upwards of 75-100 miles/week in Virginia, which is more than I ever averaged at college. Of course I'll also have the occasional extreme week with like 500 miles, but that's generally only once every couple of months.
According to what I filed with my insurance company I drive <10 miles a week and that's the story I'm sticking with.

I go back and forth to NYC everyday. Cars are not necessary there.
I don't drive, but my school is about 66km from my city/house/whatever. So I bus about 528km a week (probably closer to around 700km though with local buses and stuff :Oo:).
I prefer RIDING over DRIVING, I wonder will I have the DRIVE~~~~~~~~~~ccchhhuuuuu~~~~~ :bigsmile:
I drive like 0 miles a week because I walk to the grocery store and if it's further than BJ usually goes with me and drives. 'Cause I ain't got noooooo job.

I barely drive anymore since I moved into the city. I even sold my car and got a motorbike, and even then I've only managed to wrack up 1100km's this year. I've only had time to ride it to university (which is also in the city).

Last week I drove around 450 miles. But that's not really normal (it's not abnormal either). I'd say when I'm in LA, average is like 100 miles a week, and when I'm up in SF, it's more like 15 miles a week. :bou::bou::bou::bou:ty thing about LA is that even a 5 mile drive can leave you on the freeway for half an hour.
I just filled up yesterday, and now that I'm not school I doubt I will have to again for the next month probably. :) Only gotta go to work!
I chose to not get a licence back when I turned 18 and everyone else got one.
- I just don't need a car, and more importantly I can't afford a car. Public transport is more than fine, and other than that I just walk or cycle.
I have no car of my own now :( (Use to own an Accord but I sold t)....
I do own a chauffer....Does that count??
I definitely drive 100 miles per week, at the very least. That is just taking into account work and back everyday, and journeys I do atleast 2-3 times a week.
It's probably more most weeks, though. I'm usually designated driver when we go to places to eat, cinema, shopping .etc, but I don't mind because I love driving. :jess:
I'm not always driving, but an average day would probably be 70-80km

I've driven in just about every terrain. I've driven in a tiny road meant for two lanes, in a backroad, in the middle of the night, winding up and down, around a river with areas where your car could easily fall down and kill you in the fall - where no one will find you. I've driven outside of the Trump Tower in Manhattan. I've driven on free ways long enough to probably constitute 6 months of my life.
But I am in no way, at all, prepared to EVER drive on a British road, in a manual transmission car. Ever. I value my life too much!!! :mad2:
Even if I had an automatic car - no way. English roads have literally been the subject of my nightmares. Everyone drives up each others ass - they look like they're constantly going to hit! Wahh! :(
It really varies. This summer, I didnt' drive at all for nearly a week, and if I go home, then that's 240 miles right there.
I think I do about 30 miles a week, tops. Don't have too far to travel, really!
maybe 20 miles a week in Alaska. not much of anywhere to drive in winter unless you want a real adventure.
