Kindly Vote on Best EC Event of the Year?

Event Committee is nearly its one year anniversary. We've tried our best to deliver some really fun events for the forums. Help us do our job better by voting on your favorite event this year so we can deliver more of the stuff you guys like? And remember - we're always looking for new volunteers to give us a new perspective and new ideas. Just PM me or one of the staff if you're interesting to join, everyone is welcome. :jess:

In the poll will be a list of the events we've made this year (for the purpose of the list for now, I've made events that were purely babies of the Event Committee, leaving out events made outside of EC but worked on in EC, like EoFF Plays, EoY, etc) Do let me know if I left any out!

Argh this is pretty hard to choose. Had a lot of fun with many of these EC events this year.

Pictionary down the PM was real fun if it's the event I'm thinking of that qwerty hosted. Rantzien ruined everything though :rolleyes:

We need more FFX costume compo, if only for the chance of more Shadow of the Chocolossus masterpieces.

Wow, there were a ton of great events this year. Props to you, EC!

"Pictionary down the PM" is a lame name for a game I really like the concept of xD Call it Pictophone next time! (since it's like Telephone + Pictionary)

I'd really like to see a pictionary event again!

There where a lot of good events indeed! Even those with little votes where still good :)

I think lucky eggs/pumpkins takes the cake though.

Actually the first lucky event was bags :doublecolbert:

On schedule in 2010: Lucky Sweets for Valentine's Day and Lucky Snowmen for Christmas.

The events committee was a huge success this year with a lot of great events. But if Lucky Bags was the only event they ever came up with I would still consider them a success because that event rocks.

Honorable mention to Dear Aeris. I get a kick out of her.

I'm so bad at events like Lucky Pumpkins, but they're really fun to watch!

Acrowars. That was hella fun. That should totally happen every weekend. :bigsmile:

Monda seems to have gotten the idea in her head that she deserves to run this Event Committee, and that she's been doing all of the work this year. I can't exactly say I agree.

If you look at that poll, you'll see that she's run a total of, um, one event? If even that - I remember very clearly that Necronopticous did most of it, anyway. I'm sure everyone remembers that as well.

I'm pretty sure Jeremy made the graphics too... what did you actually do in that event, Monda?

I think she took credit mostly, and made one of the prizes. :p

I made each and every one of the graphics required in those separate three events. Jeremy just helped me hide them.

Nowadays you, Rye, seem to do only events that require minimum effort, which is why you did the Mistletoe Match-up and the candy corn game and said this:

Maybe if the two of you got together with the rest of the lame CK cast of clowns to provide better incentive to come up with "fun events" you'd have more interest. As it stands now, the majority of the forum ignores your "hard work" and goes along their merry little way.
