What internet routine do you have when you sign online? Do you mix it up or is the same sites in the same order everytime? Do you have any addictions?
I always go to Blogspot, Livejournal, Facebook, Myspace, Bleachforums, EoFF, Deviantart, Lucid Graphics, etc. There's this big picture search engine called Safebooru that I go to a lot too. I'm addicted to fanart from anime and games!
I'm addicted to AIM, MSN, and Fishville on Facebook!
I go to google everytime I go online
The fact that it's my homepage might have something to do with that.
When I go online first thing during the day, I tend to open up tabs of LJ, EoFF, Twitter, Gmail, CNN/BBC/FP and a few other interest sites depending on what I feel like (like a sewing site or Cracked, etc)
Open Firefox
- Check EoFF
- Check LiveJournal
- Check Shmups Forum
- Check MotK
Open Thunderbird
-Check e-mail
-Check RSS Feeds
Repeat both
- Something interests me
-- Continue, repeat
- Something doesn't interest me
-- Do something else
That's about it :|
I'll be honest, my internet routine is a bit boring.
I ususually check EoFF, or Twitter, (I just made one and I'm not sure how I like it yet), or maybe myspace if I'm bored enough. I hardly ever go on there though.
Then I sign into my yahoo messenger, see if anyone's on, then check my mail, and that's really about it. I don't have as many internet addictions as I used to I guess. /:
Gmail and Facebook are the two things I check most consistently. EoFF when those fail me. Kotaku, Joystiq, and CNN a few times a day for news and such.

EoFF, LJ, GHF, and a couple of blogs I read. Occasionally during the day I'll check Gmail and my law school email.

I never think to check the news while online. I might be better off doing that then watching it on TV. It just gets so dang depressing. At least on the internet I can have a second tab with a like... monkey playing monopoly or something to take my mind off it for a moment before returning to srs buzines.Quote:

check deviantART (some days)
check EoFF
check Facebook
tap foot
check LJ
check YouTube
stumble around
check mail.com
check Gmail if I have e-mail notifications
breathe heavily
check school mail
check school pages
I always check the following when going online (and in this order too):
- Gaffa.dk (Danish music site)
- IMDB.com
- Gametrailers.com
- EoFF
.. after that I start to check all sorts of other stuff (always including Wikipedia). But, I always go through that routine.
I always check my emails first, then I have EoFF and Facebook on new tabs. And I usually check Youtube. After that it kind of depends on what I want to see at that point. :p

there's my usual routine. On odd days, I'll stumble, check my twitter (like once a month if that even), surf the channel is currently open, amazon if I want to check out certain games, fml, mlia, itmademyday, textsfromlastnight, icanhascheezburger, ihasahotdog, etc. Basically my humor sites are the rare occasion :p Other than that I'll play a game or something.
Msn > Emails > Random tweet on Twitter normally something funny that happened in my day > Skype > Twitter around again > EoFF
Then the cycle repeats
Well, msn automatically logs on and I check out the usual websites i.e facebook, eoff, khinsider and then just leave the laptop running. :)
Nothing usually happens or I don't see any interesting things, but its just a habbit.
I don't think I get online a lot [at least nowhere near as much as I used to] when I do, these are the sites I have on my bookmarks that I visit when I can.

During my lunchbreak at work, it's ManUtd.com.
Everything else is done after that. Any other time of day, I just do whatever whenever, usually the following sites take priority lately...
