Just got an automated call from my school, no school tomorrow due to Nor'easter.
I have a few things I have to get done tomorrow, including the FASFA, but after that, it's R&R time.
What did you do last time it snowed? :)

Stayed huddled inside until I had to go dig my car out to get to class. >=(
went to school
If it gets any worse I'm planning on skipping tomorrow altogether.
I will probably and unfortunately be studying for an exam unless school gets canceled Thursday too -- then I will just make things up to do as I go along.
lol @ snow
I wonder what I'd do. I wager I would take a long nap and enjoy several old movies.
We haven't had it announced yet, but I am almost positive that we will have no school.
The last time it snowed, I got to stay home, because the last time it snowed was this weekend. We of course are in the middle of round number two, which has caused yet another closing for the campus, seeing as how the state doesn't know how snow works.
So, it's been a six day weekend.
Normally, I'd be okay with that, but there's this really hot girl I'm stalking that in my Physics class, and it would be nice if I could go to class so that I can sit behind her, close my eyes, and make some odd noises.
In Australia, we don't have snow, so no Snowdays. But we do get a lot of sun. And so we have Sundays.
*ba-dum-chhh*
Hux and I played in the snow in my backyard and front yard. Then I think we got coffee once the roads were cleared out.
It's pretty much been snowing here at least once a week since mid-December. The last time it snowed was yesterday, and I made myself breakfast as I looked out at the falling snow.
I wish it'd stop soon.
I'm going to do my homework
So the major snow didn't start until 6:30-7 or so this morning, which is a real bitch because it was coming down hard around 9, well after classes would have been canceled. AND I had to be here at 8:-friggin'-30, which means waking up at a time I don't even usually know about. Southern Virginia has had the most snow it's had in over a decade, and I haven't even had a class canceled because of it, due to terrible luck with timing. Go smurf yourself, snow.
My class, today, is cancelled!
Shortly after 10:30, everybody started getting texts announcing that the law school was shutting down at 11. Huzzah! Finally, something worthwhile from this stupid snow.
Now I'm going to sleep.
I broke my toboggan going down these hills:

They wern't "hills" but just mounds of stones and other rubble.
..It was fun though!
It snowed today, whilst I was at work. I moaned about having to drive in that crap later. Then I went back to working. Then I drove back home in that crap later. Now I'm hoping its gone by tomorrow morning :jess:
It's snowing right now, but seriously... Your university gets snow days? :eyebrow:
[leeza]Our local school district had 2 snow days in a row and so far a 2 hour delay for tomorrow. Lots of snow and such going on here.[/leeza]
It's been going on for about a week now for me; a lot of universities get snow days, and half the time they're not even built into the schedule. Some states don't let stuff like this get handled by the counties, the level of government where it should be handled.
I've never had a "snow day." Around here you have to drive at least an hour up a mountain if you want to see snow.
When I was in college we'd have wind days in January though. That's right mothersmurfer, wind days. Days like that you go outside just to see if you can walk in it. Sometimes you can't.
