The other other other knots!

How many different knots do you know how to tie? I'm no Scout so I can tie shoe knots and my taekwondo belt but that's about it. x3

When I did mountain climbing I could tie roughly 500,000 billion different types. Now I can tie shoelaces, standard knots, and my BJJ belt. I also can make up (accidentally figure out?) knots that work really well for different situations. Cool stuff!

Shoelaces, slip knot (the one used for hangings), and a trucker's hitch knot.

I invented my own knot once upon a time (I'm sure it wasn't new at all but I made it up myself!) and it was really strong and pretty easy to tie. Then I forgot how it went. :(

When I was 5, I had great difficulty tying my shoelaces!
And I suppose you could say that I can tie ties. Sort of.

I'm actually fairly expert at knots...I can tie a few dozen, practical and decorative, ranging from button knots and bottle slings to turks heads and trucker's hitches. I am a very knotty girl. :tongue:

I know how to make the perfect knot when hand sewing. Unfortunately, I also have a talent in making the perfect accidental knots with the slack of the thread, so then I have to rip all of it out and start over. ;;
