Do you ever worry someone's going to walk in on you playing FFX-2 at the wrong time and get the wrong idea about the kind of games you play? xD

100% of the time while playing this "fairy"-type game. I do love that Battle system though.
My sister thought Yunalesca was nude when she walked in on me playing X :p
While the girls are changing clothes...
MOON PRISM POWER MAKE-UP!
This reminds me of a secret scene in megaman legends 2 where Megaman walks in on Roll in the shower. If I remember correctly he does a fist pump afterwords too :p
That always happens to me during the "sexual" scenes. My ex-girlfriend thought the Fantasy part was quite literal. I almost lost my copy of X because she thought the "X" stood for porn. Crazy female.
I played the game with my monitor and sound turned off. (I played with an emulator nowadays.)
Yes during the laughing scene, since it was so loud and made you feel weird. Never really felt like that with the massage scene, but though if someone were to walk in while I was playing that scene, yep I'd been embarrassed.
It's true, I was always afraid of this happening.
To be fair it's the same in FFXIII if you happen to use Vanille. She sounds like she's having really awkward and loud sex all the time.
And I play alot of fighting games too, so hopefully people passing by my room are used to the pornographic sounds.
I was more concerned when buying X2. I mean, what does that cute check out chick think of me? :(
I got embarrassed just starting the game. If it wasn't so charlies angels through most of it i would love it. I actually do like the game, just some sections make me cringe like that stupid song at the beginning.
I havent played it...
I'm so glad I'm not the only person in the world who feels they have to play a game in secret because of what other people think of just one or two scenes....
I concur with Nominus's entire post
Yes, I had to put headphones in to play the game with the TV twisted at an angle so any visitors wouldn't see the shameful acts being portrayed on my 12'' tv screen.
Once the game was finished it was popped in brown paper bag and slipped under my bed with the ''for my eyes only'' products.:shifty:
Or, if you'd bought it when it first came out, she might have just thought that you loved X and were hoping for more of the same.
Anyway, my mom is the one who has seen me playing X the most, and she just keeps watching in hopes that Auron will have some lines before she has to leave.
If someone walked in on X-2, I'd have to explain away the terrible battle music, but that's probably it.
Or when Rikku stripped in X.
I absolutely hated the messaging scene. I kept looking over my shoulder to make sure no one heard it. I had to turn the tv volume down. Why did they make us do that part? WHY?! Although if they had made you message someone like Nooj or Gippal, I probably would've turned the volume up.
Honestly when I played X-2 it was always the dead of night in my room with the lights off and the sound real low. I was so embarrassed of that game. Seriously, I sometimes thought there was something wrong with me because I kept playing the game. Luckily for me, my favourite character from the game was a guy. Because of this I was able to maintain a shred of my manhood.
Hahahaha yeah what kind of manly man would enjoy women!
The guy with the eye patch.
Gippal? His name is too similar to nipple, it put me off a bit, despite enjoying his character.
Unless I have them confused. I didn't like Nooj, he was weird.
Nooj was the guy with the prosthetic arm and leg, yes?
To add to what HV and qwertysaur said, in Megaman Legends 1 Megaman walks in on Roll changing. If you visit her room later she mentions it in her diary.
Roll is technically his adopted sister and a Carbon (an artificial human).
But yeah, I never really felt embarrassed by X-2. If anything, I used to just tell people that noticed me playing X-2 that I was playing because I found the girls in the game to be pretty, which was partially true (truth be told I'm not really one to get a crush on a virtual girl.....).
I thought gippal was gay?
Good heavens, you massage people in this game? I'm even more glad now that i've never taken the time to try it. I watched the opening scene and I just couldn't get over my fit of rage and giggles. Especially when I started thinking, "have summoners always had the ability to magically change from their robes into popstar clothing?". I proceeded to then imagine what Seymour's transformation sequence would look like. Somehow, it ended up looking like Tuxedo Mask's transformation seen from PGSM(Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon):

Anybody can do it with a Garment Grid! No summoning powers necessary.
Spira Planet Power! Make UP!
I wouldn't mind being able to change my clothes on a whim like that.
I liked the idea so much that I did it...

During the hot bath scene, my mom walked in and was like, "Oh...didn't know...oh." I assume she was going to say didn't know you were in to incestuous lesbians.
My good friend, who doesn't play many video games but likes to watch, watched me play through FFX in it's entirity. He became totally engrossed in the story and loved it. It was like a 40 hour movie for him.
Then I popped in FFX-2. He was appauled and after the FMV of Yuna dancing uncontrollably he stopped watching.
We never talked about Final Fantasy again.
