I'm back (if anyone remembers me) and at the height of my originality.
However, I'm going to pooh-pooh PuPu's rules and have my own - so for every post you make I will do one pull-up. But you can post more than once. :cool:
And I don't care how high ranking you are. Everyone is equal before the Lord Steiner. And for those who are wondering how I'll do it - I have a pullup bar at home. So let the posts begin.

Pretty much, but not quite. If I do do a dead hang, my feet touch the ground, so I only actually do around 90% extension tbh.Quote:

Basically, it's using momentum to help you do your reps. Like you swing your legs and then pull up for it to be easier. It's cheating, any rep that uses kipping doesn't count.Quote:

Oh and I've got a confession to make. I'm going back to Uni tomorrow and there isn't a pull-up bar in my Uni room. I'll try and go to the gym and keep up with the demands, but if I do fall behind I'll definitely make up for it when I come back for the summer holidays after my exams.

Depends on the balance of your physique. For a heavy person, often pullups are just way too hard. For me though I find it's roughly 3 pushups to 1 pullup.Quote:

No, I'm not doing all of these in one set. Do you have any idea how ridiculously difficult doing 50 pullups ,with decent form, in a row would be?
At best I can manage 20, and even that's stretching it. Thankfully I've done a few of the 50 already.
