Finally got this done today! :D The first time I've ever got all trophies/achievements for a game, actually. 145 hours for me - yikes, that's a lot of time to spend on a game. x_x
So, anyone else done it? I'm guessing Sephiroth has, at the least...

I don't think I'm going to. I don't care much for trophies.
I haven't yet, but I'm definitely going to.
Maybe I'll do it all a second time because I noticed my Enemy Log isn't perfect (missed some information on soldiers) :mad2:
Enemy logs is the last thing you need to worry about, I assure you. The trophy you get for that is easy, you'll probably get it done with a few chapters worth of enemies still to come. :p
Christ no, this game's 100% completion criteria are just annoying.
I thought all 100% completion criteria for trophies were annoying? I mean, having looked over the ones for Halo 3, L4D, Uncharted 2, etc...
Yeah they often are. Guess why so few of my games have 100% completion? :p But mainly I just think Treasure Hunter and Loreseeker are enormously stupid, largely because stuff can be Lost Forever and sod playing that 35 hour tutorial again!
Not as bad as the freaking Zodiac Spear though. What the Christ.
Indeed. But then my PS III broke before I've synchronized my last trophies. Now many of my trophies - not only Final Fantasy XIII trophies - will be gone when I get my PS III back. And I don't even have any save datas to get them back quickly because they were gone too before I have sent my PS III to the sony service>_>
FAIL
Hell no. I don't care about trophies/achievements period. If what's involved with getting a particular trophy is interesting, I'll do it; if it's not, I won't.
I have explained my times how you cannot miss the chance to get "Treasure Hunter" trophy and the "Lore Seeker" trophy cannot be missed. There are by far more than 100 monsters in Final Fantasy XIII.
It was my first Gold Trophy in Final Fantasy XIII and I automatically got it in Mah'habara or Taejin. One of both.
I got to 65% for the trophies and was pretty damn please with myself! :p Doubt I'll ever get higher than that, treasure hunter.... uh no! Shame because I'd like the theme that comes with :( I downloaded a 100% complete gamesave to see what it was like being all strong and what not and got a message that I couldn't steal the trophies.... *mumbles*stupid too clever PS3....... lol
I hope you do not speak of 2000000 Gil for only one Traphezohedron because it is not necessary to spend that riddiculus amount of money more than once for six weapons. Especially because you get one for free and the Adamantoise itself drops Traphezohedrons.
But I think you already know that.
You get one for free? I don't think I did. =/ Must have missed that one. I paid 2m for my first one, upgraded a weapon and then dismantled it for three more, and the very next battle I got my first ever Trap drop.
You might be able to imagine how "pleased" I was. >_* I think Raist was chatting with me at the time.
I thought if you sell stuff like the elemental rings, you miss your chance at Treasure Hunter?
Oh and I got Loreseeker wrong, I thought you had to scan everything in the game, derp derp ignore me.
Wow! Congratulations BoB :D :D :D I really want to join the platinum club, I have about 11 more trophies to get but one of them is the treasure hunter one which I imagine will take a very long time.
Smile and Be happy
I saw you doing it BoB from my PSN friends list. You were on 68% when I was playing a couple of days ago, which is way more than I've got. I've never been much of trophy-chaser anyway.
Congrats xD
I'm definitely not a trophy-chaser but it was an FF and I figured I may as well do everything I can so I know I don't have to replay it xD I wish the VII & VIII downloads on PSN had trophies. I'd max them out too, probably. Or at least try. But yeah, the main thing is single player game trophies are achievable without needing to go online, which is to my tastes. I'm okay at single player, but I hate having to hone my skills for months in online play just to get to the point that I'm considered worthy of some trophy. That's why Uncharted 2 will never be done by me.
