Damn, this is smurfin' awesome! What would make this even sweeter is seeing the inclusion of Viewtiful Joe on the Capcom side. He clearly deserves a spot, but looking at the realistic visual graphics, I don't know if he'll be in the game. :/ I guess we'll find out when more information on the characters arise.

I definitely want Ammy to be in there (or even Chibiterasu, if they want to pimp Okamiden), and Gene from Godhand makes perfect sense.
This is really awesome. Since this is the Tatsunoko team, hopefully the Super Street Fighter IV team will get to work on a new Darkstalkers game. Giggity.

Personally, I like the 6-button configuration better than the 4-button configuration. Marvel vs Capcom 2 used a 4-button configuration, which is closer in style to SNK than Capcom.
I've been playing Clash of Super Heroes on and off since 1998 and loved the traditional Capcom trademark 6-button controls.

Edit: I actually just ordered my first joystick ever due to this. There's a huge community for customizing joysticks. Lots of resources. So I've also ordered new buttons and a stick for it. And got a template ready to print off and re-do the face of the joystick. Custom gaming pad, here I come~

I hope there's some Sengoku Basara representation in this game. It's definitely needed.
What I like best about Deadpool, though, is that he shouts "YOU PRESSED THE WRONG BUTTON!!!!!" when he is defeated in battle.
I like his moonwalk and Dormammu's in game model looks slick. I wasn't really thinking about playing as him before I saw it, I might now, but I said the same with Cody, Ibuki, and Dudley and I'm not playing with any of them.
I really hope C.Viper will make it and there's a silhouette that looks like her. If it's true then I'll be one step closer to reaching heaven. While I'm here I mind as well post more videos and my wishlist.

While I too really want Phoenix Wright to make an appearance, I really doubt that he will. However, that doesn't mean another character from his games shouldn't appear as well. With that in mind, I do think that Franziska von Karma, the whip bearing prosecutor prodigy, and "sister" of Edgeworth, has the best chance to be a character in MvC3. :monster:Quote:

Ryota Niitsuma, the producer of MvC3 came back and said, though, that if enough fans asked for him and Shu Takumi, Phoenix Wright's producer, came to him and asked him to put him in the game, that it may happen. Unfortunately I do not have a link as this was stated on a live stream a while back (but hey, it's Capcom related and I never lie when it comes to Capcom-related stuff). It was implied that he could be DLC, as apparently the roster is finalized already.

Note that none of those characters are likely 'cept for maybe Strider, Arthur, and Masamune, since he's the face of Basara along with Yukimura (and also maybe Phoenix, but not until later). Jacques alone would be a nightmare for Capcom because of his likeness being based on Jean Reno. Maybe not a "nightmare" but why would they spend money to use a character when they can pluck one from Dawn of Dreams again?

I am very glad to see Arthur. Arthur is one of Capcom's first characters and has been relevant even longer than Mega Man has. He should have been playable in this series way before now.
Spencer is cool too though I know a lot of fans were pissed when they found out it was the reboot version.

I don't like this. Considering this has been discovered so early the chances of this DLC actually being DLC is slimmed. If they have artwork and informed Gamestop of this already probably earlier than this, then they must surely already have the characters designed already, but not necessarily complete. As with SF4 they're most likely going to be on the disc when the game comes out, but you'll have to pay to unlock them. That sounds like some money grubbing bull to me. DLC stands for down-loadable content, not disc locked content. DLC should be for things that the company could not get into the game by time of release.
I would fine with this if it meant that the people who buy the collector's edition would only get the characters early while the rest can get them shortly later for free, but even then that's still not right.

I can now stop paying attention to whoever else gets added.
I feel like C. Viper should be a surprise, but I remember hearing about how she was one of the most well-liked characters by one of the head honchos at Capcom. Storm was an obvious shoe-in.

Like Ammy's colors. Wish she had an Oki one though. My girl's is horrible though. Why didn't they just go with the SSF4 ones? Her pants look tight and funny too. I like Captain's and Deadpool's along with Doom and Dorm's.
Shouldn't these characters have more colors than these? What if you two players have have teams of the same character?

There are only two remaining characters to be revealed in the final lineup of the retail release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
From what I hear, the remaining characters to be revealed are Hsien-Ko from Darkstalkers and Sentinel from Marvel. I am not really looking forward to playing any specific character as they passed up several candidates as playable characters that I would have liked to play: Strider Hiryu, Dr. Strange, and Psylocke come to mind.

Ah, Hsien-ko, a cutesy character. Personally, I think they should have announced her first, and then Akuma, but it's all right; unlike the majority of you, I like my cutesy characters too.
Hsien Ko looks interesting. I really want this game, but I don't think there's a point in buying it if I can't even play online.
Lack of Ken offends me immensely, almost as much as the dropping of Frank West. Still, will probably get it just for Zero and Deadpool.
Don't worry, there's always the possibility of DLC in the future. So it's possible to see some wanted characters through that. We may get to see Phoenix Wright and others!

I really want to buy this. Side-scrolling tag-team fighters were my favorite back in the day. I also love the idea of seeing Chris Redfield and Wolverine on the same screen.

I would think the problem with actual downloadable content is if you want to fight someone with that character who hasn't downloaded that character. When the character is on the disk and just locked, then its available to see and fight at least. With alternate costumes or clone characters, you can just use the default layout for the original character on the other person's side and it won't change much for them. Otherwise they'd have to set up some sort of lock-out system on match set-ups. And since you probably pick your fighters after you've been set up against someone, that's gonna be pain. So I think disk locked content is the lesser evil in this case. But in general, I don't agree with it myself. DLC just seems like it'd be a hard boat to float with fighting games

Like 80% of the playerbase Spider-Man and Deadpool are going to be in my team. No idea about the third (and I'm not even 100% on Deadpool) but I'll see how it goes since I like so many of the others equally. This decision would have been a lot easier though if they included Classic Megaman, Megaman X, Akira from Rival Schools or Ryu from Breath of Fire - a franchise I'm not entirely sure Capcom remembers existed.
I like it, it's fun.
Surprisningly, smurfing Whesker is one of my best characters. :P
My best team so far is Akuma, Whesker, and Taskmaster.
Deadpool's pretty damn sexy too though.
