Clo, I would like to pretend I am greeting you to the fora two months ago, but I am unsure how to best portray this! Have you any tips to give faux welcomes?!
Well, my dear Genius Lynx, first you must use some sort of greeting, such as "Welcome", or even "Hello", and make a comment about something I said in my original post.
Then make a jibe at a regular member who I do not yet know but will be inspired to want to know by your playful jibe. Follow up by well wishing me to stick around or something of the sort.
Then perhaps comment on how my welcome thread has been around for too long.
This seems like a good formula.
I definitely like Clo, Clo knows what is up.
