I need me a nap ;-;
Any frequent nappers in here?
I nap sometimes, depends on how tired I am. Mom has a bad habit of waking me up really early when I've stayed up really late thinking, "oh, mom will let me sleep in this time." :eep:

I hate napping because I feel so sick and groggy after. XD It's the sensation of waking up with a cold.
I can sleep anywhere, but I don't actively take time out of my day to nap. I'll usually wind up falling asleep on the train/bus/at my girlfriend's house. If I have an early start to uni, I'll usually leave even earlier than I have to so I can drive and get a free parking spot. Then I'll sleep in the car if I don't have any readings or other work to do.
I'm not a good napper. It's more of a short sleep. And I'm still jet lagged from Japan so my sleep schedule is all kinds of smurfed up. Yesterday I woke up at 3am, took an hour nap at 9am, then went to bet at 7pm. Kill me.
There are times when I feel groggy and ill when I wake up from a nap, but there are also times i wake up feeling great. I think it's when I have my window open and it's beautiful and sunny and breezy and smells like summer that I wake up feeling the best <3
Because I am old, I can nap like a pro. However waking up, about 50% of the time, I feel really unwell. Overheated and with quite the headache.
I enjoy naps quite a bit when I have the time to take them. :D
Whenever I take a nap, I feel worse than before I took the nap. The only time I sleep during the day is when exhaustion completely overwhelms my body and I pass out where ever I am at that moment.
I suck at napping and so almost never sleep during the day.
I don't nap. My day doesn't allow for that. I'm awake all night, sleep all morning 'till noon, and have work in the afternoon. :|
Sometimes I do take a nap in the afternoon, but mostly I don't.
I've always wanted to attempt the Uberman Sleep Schedule though. Apparently it allows you to feel awake just by taking six 2-hour naps spread over 24 hours.
I'm always tired recently. I need to stop napping though. My nights are field with strange dreams, now.
l love napping, but if I ever nap for more than an hour I'll feel groggy unless I sleep at least three hours.
I try to take about 45 minutes to nap then.
I woke up with a headahce :( Oh the injustice.
Meant to say 20 minute naps for a total of 2 hr sleep/24 hr.
Ah, now that makes more sense. I wonder if it works, personally I never feel refreshed after naps like I do normal sleeping so I don't think it would for me. Also I wonder if it lets you get rem sleep in.
It doesn’t work and it is discouraged by many.
>>> Yesterday I was so tired that i went to sleep at 7pm..:luca:
I take a nap after imbibing in copious amounts of fermented drink!
Last summer, I was all about napping, but since I started tutoring, my spaces between classes have been full up
15-30 minutes is ideal for a nap, it gives you a little rest but your body doesn't have time to start thinking it's going to be a long sleep, so you won't feel all terrible waking up! That said, I still don't take naps often at all.
I only nap when I did a lot of work in the day, usually in a truck riding home.
I usually take a nap in the late afternoons.. Although its preferable to take a power nap... Otherwise I get groggy and out of whack!
Like Rye and MILF I often feel groggy and uncomfortable after taking a nap, so I seldom do it. If I'm sleepy in the middle of the day I drink some strong coffee, or try to stay awake until the evening and it's time to go to bed. It usually works better that way for me.
However, I do nap when I'm sick.
