Can't fault any of the choices made in this thread, but I must say that "Part of Your World" remains my all-time favorite Disney song. That being said, Lea Salonga (singing voice of "Jasmine" and "Mulan I & II") will always be my favorite Disney princess. :D
Definitely Poor Unfortunate Souls. Ursula is my favorite Disney character.
In fact, while The Little Mermaid is not my favorite movie all time, that is my favorite scene of all time, if that makes sense. The movie needed a quick seduction to make Ariel agree to this deal and given only around 7 minutes or so, they did a good job, I think.
I ripped the YouTube version into an Mp3 so I could have the full dialog, full sound effects, and cackle at the end. The soundtrack version was missing those. Feel free to lol at my fanboy.
Ugh, don't start me on the Jonas Brothers' version.
Many of my earliest memories are associated with this song, and it's been with me my entire life. It's been critical in forming my disposition in life. There are a lot of 'better' songs sprinkled all throughout this thread, but this is probably the song that means the most to me...in life.

Pretty weird how creepy it seems now though. Them's were simpler times.
Oh wow. Let's see. Rantz already got 'A Whole New World' and 'Part of Your World'. I'd have to say those have always been my favorites.
NeoCracker already said 'Reflection'... hmmm.
Ah, I know.
'Heaven's Light/Hellfire' from The Hunchback of Notre Dame sent shivers down my spine as a kid. It was such a powerful moment in the movie. Come to think of it, I liked all of the music from that movie.
Guilty pleasure: 'Streets of Gold' - Oliver and Company
I love so many! It's hard to pick just one but I think this one stands out as my favorite!!!
YouTube - Hannah Montana - Lifes What You Make it Full (HQ)
Oh! And I want a disney avatar! >:[
Pretty much all of Mulan and Lion King's songs are great. Yes, even the one sung by Donnie Osmond. Tarzan has some great songs too. Of course, A Whole New World is a classic and it's amazing. When I was little I used to have the Disney radio station and every time I turned it on, that song would come on.
You'll Be in My Heart - Phil Collins
Two Worlds - Phil Collins
Now you get crap with Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus.
Vanessa Sings Her Song - The Little Mermaid - I don't think this qualifies as a song (though she is singing), buuuut I totally love it when she climbs onto the makeup stand.
The Little Mermaid - Poor Unfortunate Souls
And for a real one: Aladdin - One Jump
Also, one that wasn't in the theatrical release of Pocahontas but totally should have been: "If I Never Knew You"
Hercules - The Gospel Truth I
Mary Poppins - Sister Suffragette
Bedknobs and Broomsticks - Substitutiary Locomotion (God, I love this movie. I love it when all of her clothes come waltzing in, too) xD
YouTube - Mary Poppins "Step in Time" My favorite part being at the end when they get overexited, and incorperate everything they hear into the song :D.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X5c9JvTtIc Please don't hate me... but I liked the film before it was a "fad" and a "cash cow", and least the first film has meaning to it.
YouTube - The Rescuers - Tomorrow is another day My favorite part of an excelent film, I love this song, and there is a slight hint of romance in the scene it plays in the only thing more romantic is...
YouTube - Love - Robin Hood Favoirte Disney scene, favorite Disney song, favorite Disney film.
I also like the Phil Collins song "You'll Be in My Heart", but I don't rate it as a Disney song because I never saw the film (Tarzan).
Part of Your World
Beauty and The Beast theme
Under the Sea
Kiss the Girl
A Whole New World
Friend like Me
Once Upon a Dream (Sleeping Beauty)
Hercules' Gospel Truth
My pick is definitely this:
"When You Wish Upon a Star" - Pinocchio
There's a reason why this song became the Disney anthem. It has hopeful lyrics, a beautiful melody, and Cliff Edwards sings it well. It's one of the most memorable Disney songs ever. :)
Oh my god-- I totally forgot about Bedknobs and Broomsticks! That used to be one of my favorites when I was little!
Also, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious yet! :D
My mom collected Disney movies and never really watched them.
I did, however. :D
not enough appreciation for Hellfire in this thread.
Anything from Aladdin. It's my favorite Disney movie.
And I really like the I Just Can't Wait To Be King one from The Lion King. Tonnes of fun.
