Okie, it's not a morbid thread I swear! <_< Really. :cool:

So I thought it would be fun to compile a list of the top activities / hobbies / escapades of things that people would want to do before they die.

Let's make it 100! :p -blinks-

Umm, yes.... so basically, what are the things you want to do before you die?

List all here.. make it fun, make it peppy ;) You all know the drill.

::TOP THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU DIE::

• Have a 24 hour movie marathon with your closest people!
• Go deep sea fishing
• See the Aurora Lights
• Travel the world with a group of close friends.
• Ive got to do shrooms again o_O
• I can't die without at least trying to pull frankie sandford/elisha cuthbert/kristen bell/jessica alba etc. If i fail... well at least i tried

- I really wanna see the aurora lights. And I wanna travel quite a alot, especially around France and Japan. I think that can just be summed up as 'travel widely' :p

- I want to get a degree and a masters.

- I want to perfect my French and Greek, but I also want to learn Spanish and Japanese. I have a bit of knack for languages so hopefully this won't be an impossible feat :p

- I want to read lots too. I want to finish everything that i've ever wanted to read before I die.

There's probably loads more. I don't know how i'll ever get the money to do most of these things but they need to happen!

I really have respect for people who speak more than one language. My mate speaks english and iranian and i just dont know how he does it.

I'd like to have another branch for my business but it's not looking to happen for a while in this damn economical climate :mad:

I'd like to learn how to speak German before I die. <3

Some of my personal goals are (not sure they'll fit on that more general list of yours):


- I want to travel the world. Again! I want to go on long travels for the rest of my life.

- I want to become a better cook.

- I want to live as a vegetarian for at least a longer period of time (at least a year). If I can do it for the rest of my life then great!

- I want to get an education at uni.

- Down the line I want to get a job that pushes me on both a personal and creative level.

- If I'm ever gonna have kids I want at least one of them to be adopted.

- I want to live in a foreign country for at least a longer period of time.

- I want to learn more languages (or at least perfect the ones I do know).


...those are the ones I could think of.

Track down Morgan Freeman and make him narrate my life at gunpoint. I'll have that smooth as jazz voice for myself before my days are done.

Hardcore:
Skydiving
Hang gliding
Class 5 river rafting
Helicopter over volcanos
Zorbing in New Zealand
Go to North Korea. Liberate North Korea.

Travel:
Visit every single state in the US, airport layovers don't count.
Roadtrip from West Coast to East Coast
Visit every continent, including Antarctica!
Rent a cabin for a month somewhere beautiful and isolated and disconnect from technology.
Safari trip in Africa
Spend 6 months visiting European countries

Random:
Appear on television at least once, hopefully not connection with crime and the daily news.
Hot air balloon ride
Shoot guns at a shooting range. Bang bang!
Meet a president or a member of a royal family
Bowl a perfect game
Witness a herd of wild horses galloping in a field
Go see a World Cup/Superbowl/Olympics in person.

Food:
Pick fresh strawberries from a strawberry field
Eat at Chez Panisse and French Laundry, two of the best restaurants in the world
Learn to make handmade pasta from a little old Grandma in Italy
Grow my own herb and vegetable garden

Personal:
Learn to play the piano
Learn to speak passable French, Italian & Spanish
Read all 100 of Newsweek's Top 100 Books of All Time
Donate time & effort to disaster relief.
Help build a house for Habitat for Humanity

Professional:
Publish work
Get hired by a celebrity. A & B list only.
Own a restaurant

I was going to do this when I visited Hawaii but it was really expensive.

I pretty much just want to travel and live in several foreign countries for a short amount of time. Possibly "live off the land" for a couple months in the middle of nowhere.
