Just bought a couple of cans of compressed air. My laptop needs a sprayin'.
Food! Nothing fancy.
Collector editions of The Hobbit & The Neverending Story. Along with a new book everyone's been recommending: Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
I bought an avocado.
A big ol' plate of hummus.
But I'm going clothes shopping TOMORROW. :omghey:

I bought a sammich from Subway then I ate it :D
GH: Van Halen and Guitar Hero 5!
Brought some products from Lush, and a PRETTY box to put them in, and PURPLE pretty stuff to like....stuff in there, and then sent it off to the Philippines for a mates' birthday. God knows when that's getting over there.
:D expensivenesssssss
Four red bulls... just enough to get me through the day :hyper:
Something that vibrates~~~~
A Jack Rabbit Vibrator.
A DVD.
A bottle of Dr Pepper, some potato chips, a Kit-Kat, and some Strongbow.
Two pants! Now I have a reason to throw some of my old pants out.

So happy to add to my aquarium!
A motherboard for my new PC, and an SDHC memory card for my camera.
I bought a long sleeved shirt
with horses on the front
and some gum and a lighter and a knife
and a new deck of cards (with girls on the back)
and I sat down and wrote a letter to my wife.
Aw, those fish are pretty!
An icecream.
I just went to Your Dekalb Farmer's Market and bought $26 worth of groceries!
(granny smith apples .99$/lb? YES PLEASE)
ROFL, my last purchase was .99/lb apples too. XD I found a nice grocery store after I had bought some fabric to make some new zipper pouches to sell, and bought some travel sized stuff for my trip.
well the last things I purchased were a package of dunouts, peanut butter cookies and some M&Ms. Oh and a 6 pack of Coors Light and a pack of Camel lights.
I bought my lunch earlier when I was on my break, which was a Chicken and Bacon sandwich, packet of crisps and a bottle of coke :jess: The last thing that I bought that wasn't food was probably the three tops that I got last week.
I got some Burt's Bee Lip balm! It smells so good, like honey.
I've decided to study eastern religions, so:
Lao Tzu - Tao te Ching, rendered into English by Ursula K. Le Guin
Alan Watts - The Way of Zen
Pema Chodrön - The Places That Scare You: A Guide to Fearlessness in Difficult Times
Robert M. Pirsig - Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry into Values
And various political/miscellaneous stuff that caught my eye in the store:
Joesph E. Stiglitz et al. - The Stiglitz Report: Reforming the International Monetary and Financial Systems in the Wake of the Global Crisis
John Amato & David Neiwert - Over the Cliff: How Obama's Election Drove the American Right Insane
Cass Sunstein & Richard Thaler - Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness
Janice Erlbaum - Girlbomb: A Halfway Homeless Memoir
And before that I made an order:
Daniel Suarez - Freedom™
Noam Chomsky - Hopes and Prospects
Noam Chomsky - Making the Future: The Unipolar Imperial Moment
Employee discount week is this week so I've been catching up on a lot of purchases that caught my eye in the past several months. Lately I usually haven't been buying many books due to the size of my backlog; in fact I think I had only bought about four books in the six months prior to this week.
I haven't bought anything for weeks, I've had zero pence in my bank! Roll on my birthday/pay day. I spent my last pound on a Dr Pepper, a few weeks ago. How depressing. BIRTHDAY NEXT WEEK AND PAYDAY WEEK AFTER THOUGH. :excited:
I haven't bought anything in a long time, but, yesterday, my grandfather bought me A CAR.
Aaaaaaaw yeah.
A round-trip ticket to Germany (Munich) for this winter. :)
I just bought some Aloe Skin Lotion because I got sun buuuurned.
A Milky Way. Yummy!
Pulp Fiction and Alvin And The Chipmunks on DVD (the latter was a present for my nieces 5th birthday, Pulp Fiction was for me)
I think the last big purchase I made was pretty much all the available band merch from "The Action Design" (an indy band I'm rather decadent towards).
hockey stick
Shining - Blackjazz 2LP
Converge - Jane Doe 2LP
I may order other stuff as well, dunno. I want the Wolves in the Throne Room Diadem of 12 Stars 3LP but it's $30 for shipping alone :(
3 4-packs of Monster energy drinks.
Mmm. [;
Wolves in the Throne Room - Diadem of 12 Stars 3LP
Altar of Plagues - Tides LP
Trinacria - Travel Now Journey Infinitely 2LP
I found a retailer that stocked this stuff in the U.S., which makes me happy. All three items together were less than ordering the Diadem box from Europe would have been.
Iced tea and wheat thins. Satisfying my addictions.
Oh man wheat thins are so nummy
Cream of Wheat, flavor variety pack. I am not disappointed in my purchase :D
A ham and cheese panini and a chicken, bacon and salad tortilla wrap. Lunch, in other words.
If you're going for something that isn't food, I'm not really sure. Maybe it was the new linen I got for our new expensive mattress, which I also purchased. I have a £20 HMV Online voucher though, so I'll probably buy something else soon enough. I just don't know what to buy!
A full tank of petrol for my car. I stopped watching how much it cost when it passed the £60 mark. After that I just closed my eyes and went to my happy place.
Yeah, I bought gas too, but it was only $34. One advantage of living in the U.S. is that we have cheaper gas. I can't name many other advantages to be honest.
Manga. The store is having a big sale so I couldn't resist :p
COCAINE AND A TAIWANESE HOOKER
pff taiwanese... you're no role model
fsdewqf
I feel your pain, Nommy. I have a macaw that never ceases to screech. Nothing can drone it out. I can hear him around the corner away from the house.
I bought a whole lot today, mostly gifts for other people, along with some toiletries.
- A graduation card for my brother
- A t-shirt from Hot Topic that my brother picked out, as a graduation present.
- A t-shirt for Huxley.
- A mug that says "PAPA BEAR" on it.
Two Monsters for tonight.
I can't stay up very late anymore. :(
Alcohol, cigarettes and junk food. (It was a night out)
I finally bought a nook. This was actually a Christmas present that I didn't bother obtaining for six months, as I'd been promised an e-reader of my choice and didn't bother to make my decision until just now. I received a $50 gift card with my purchase.
I also bought Good Omens for my dad for Father's Day.
Monsters and cigarettes.
Imma be up all night now. :D
I'm not kidding. I have pokemon toys!
And a pandoo
A 950ml Coors Light, a Sapporo, and a bottle of Boones Strawberry Daquiri. And before that, Folklore for the PS3.
Asunder - Works Will Come Undone LP
I'd really love to track down a copy of A Clarion Call on vinyl but it's been out of print for years so I don't have much hope. I'm also going to buy Panopticon's self-titled album after I decide whether to spend $13 extra for the t-shirt. I almost never wear t-shirts, but then again this is one of my favourite bands so I'd probably wear said shirt a lot more often than I wear most of my other t-shirts. I'll probably end up springing for the t-shirt, especially since he's apparently only making like twenty of this design.
Groceries, so some food and cleaner. Before that, a hand mixer that was on sale. KitchenAid hand mixer for 50$ when it is normally 80$? HELL YES.
The Bell Jar , a cute owl journal, and iced coffee.

I made my first Victoria's Secret purchase today-- two pairs of on-sale panties. They better be worth all the hoopla!
I also got a really cute dress at Target! It's so Mod!60s!
They are worth it! I've bought over 30 pairs over the past few years and they're super comfy and nice. No frays.
pics or it didn't happen
Anima Roleplaying Game: Gaia Volume 1: Beyond the Dreams, as well as Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG: Game Master's Toolkit.
Mussels. =]
This thread is so awesome.
I bought a new shirt from Guess! ^________________^
I bought a garbage can today.
It's pretty cool. I need to get more books for it, but I've been reading Alice in Wonderland on it and it's about as good as reading a real book (the only problem is that its OCR software for interpreting PDFs isn't perfect so there are occasional typos, but nothing that makes the book illegible). It'll really come into its use when I sideload all the PDFs and other e-book files I've downloaded onto it. I can almost never be bothered reading excessively long documents on my computer (although I did read The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest on my computer because I was too impatient to wait for the US release), but the nook's screen is awesomely legible and doesn't give me eye strain at all.
Of course I have too many unread physical books too so I haven't been spending as much time with it as I probably should. Also, they dropped to $199 about four days after I got mine, but as mentioned I did get a $50 gift card with mine so basically I only paid $10 extra.
I bought a large pie from Papa Johns that was half-plain and half-vegetable. I discovered that I'm really not that fond of pizza anymore.
S'true. I would've preferred hot wing pizza probably, but they don't make that in this state. :(
That sounds delicious.
I bought a banana for breakfast today, strangely enough.
bowflex link weights, running shoes, and 21 piece cutlery set, now I'm down almost 1000 dollars (depressed look)
I've been reading alot... Downloading e-books online expense free.
I put 20 dollars on my ORCA card today so I can ride the bus.
Oh, aside from the crap pizza I also got two v neck shirts because I suddenly want to conform to this sudden trend of cleavage baring. I also bought a Sedu flat iron. Hopefully it works as good as they say because it definitely was not cheap.
I planning to buy new shoes.... I hope...
A slice of Macaroni and Cheese Pizza :D
The last thing not food related that I bought was The Elements of Style by William Shrunk Jr. and E.B. White and The Art of Happiness in a Troubled World by the Dalai Lama and Howard Cutler.
Last substantial purchase I made was my new PS3.
A can of grapetiser from our café..it tastes so fake but I was dehydrating :(
I think.
A meal at Wagamama.
A new guitar cable and some In n Out! :jess:
I just bought a Alice in Wonderland costume 4 haloween!
Chicken fries with honey dijon and deep fried fries. It was delish!
Some of that $2 Meal Deal at Taco Bell. :)
I brought my hamsters some food and snacks. Also some vitamins and other accessories all for them!
I wanted to buy some soft drinks for them but the shop assistant advise me not to and especially no alcohol for them!
I asked for some cute shirts for my hamsters like doggies had and he said there's none cause they are too small. Oh mine, this is too much, I dun like the idea of my hamster going around naked and can't enjoy a good drink! :mymelbert:
>>> Toothpaste and candy..:luca:
White compressions shorts and and a white compression Tee for work.
DeathSmiles and Sakura Taisen V. I'm so excited.
Reversing through my weekend:
A bag of pretzels to take to a wine tasting last night
KFC snacker combo for dinner yesterday
10 gallons of gas at $2.59/gal (cheap!)
Two packages of Toast-Chee from a hospital vending machine
An underpriced beer (to remove the pain of seeing The Last Airbender) and overpriced plate of cheese sticks
Movie ticket (The Last Airbender - see above for review) and Cherry Coke
A large pizza from Dominos
I feel like there could be an elaborate story there to connect everything.
The very last thing I bought was probably gas for the van. Stupid HST.
But as far as products goes...Fable 2 and some Gin, a lime, and tonic water.
Persona 3 Portable.
Thich Nhat Hanh - Anger
plus a couple of meals
