In England every male over the age of 14 is legally meant to go to his local parish (church) and participate in a 4 hour Archery lesson every Saturday. This law has never been rescinded though it is now considered obsolete and not enforced. I still want to go to church on a saturday with a yew longbow and say "well I'm here for my archery lesson" and see the guy faint!
