Four strikes and a gutter

Since I had such a great day today doing things I love I decided I just might want to know what kind of things you guys love to do in your free time.

I am speaking of hobbies that you don't partake in on a daily basis. Maybe weekly or monthly. Perhaps just whenever you can get the chance.

Today I got to go snorkeling. It was amazing. I saw some awesome Japanese fish and got thrown up against a reef in rowdy waters. But it was fun.

And then, we all went bowling later. Something we do most weekends. I actually did really well today. Bowled a 155 on my last game. I also bowled my first turkey (3 strikes in a row) and almost got 5 strikes in a row. But I somehow managed to gutter my very last throw.
The games before weren't to shabby either. But usually I have to fight to break 100, let alone 125 or 150. I guess our weekly ventures are making me better.

I also really like pool. I'm not great, but I'm not bad either. Plus, it is just fun.

Anyone else partake in the ten pin or other such activities?

The only activity I do is the gym and the bedroom variety :jokey:. Other than that not much in the extra curriculum aspect.....

Bowling happens once in a a blue moon....

Y'know, sometimes I feel like people take me out bowling/beg me to drive to the bowling place so that they can watch me and how ridiculous I look.

I am terrible at bowling because the bowling ball is pretty much half my weight and the size of my damn torso, so everytime I go up I usually try to find a new way to throw the ball without breaking my arm off.

I enjoy going on road trips with friends when I get the chance. It's more about the car ride than anything else, we pick somewhere a few hours away (nothing two crazy, usually 3 or so hours drive) and head off, the we'll stay there a day or two and drive back. It's always a lot of fun, and we always try to make the best 'road trip playlists'.

The drive back is never as fun because everyone usually feels a bit seedy XD

I only go bowling rarely. I think my average is somewhere between 120-140, though I am very streaky.

At law school I have a weekly basketball game with some friends. Over the summer now, I have a weekly poker game. Also during basketball season I'm a high school referee. Those are my main regularly-scheduled activities.

So lucky! I happen to live in the flattest, most boring country, in the entire universe. No sights but thighs wiggling, and fat kids with an ice cream in each hand. I world really love to gather some of my friends, and take a fabulous road trip across Australia. xD

Also, I have no hobbies. I work out every day, but that's not really a hobby.

If you do a little bit of research and go driving in the right places it's absolutely amazing. Going across Australia via the Nullarbor is also good, but it's not for everyone. There's an awful lot of nothing out there, but just the red desert and some of the rock formations are enough to tide some people over.

I dun really have anything fixed or a specific hobby that I do weekly or monthly! :bigsmile:

I do a bit of sports, hanging out and volunteer works at elderly or children home! For sports it will be mainly indoor sports cause I dun like the hot sun! Preferably with air con too!!! :bigsmile:

Hanging out will be with friends to random places, gathering, BBQ and random activities! There was once I tried to emulate this bloke's unique fishing technique hoping to get my big catch too!! :bigsmile:

I help out in the elderly and children home every now and then conducting or participating in various activities with them! It was very meaningful and inspiring!! :bigsmile:

I'm not very good at bowling but I always manage to have fun :jess:

Swimming is probably my all-time favorite <3 Also going on walks on nature trails makes for a happy Kari :jess:

Occasionally i indulge myself with sexual intercourse and when that doesn't go to plan a little masturbation. Masterbation is most fun with toys, porn or when spying on unsuspecting people doing naughty things.

Cricket is my passion. I play for my University but seeing as term is over now I play for my local team's 3rd XI, which is great for me because it's taken far less seriously, and there's good banter :manus: Being a batsman, I've had an absolutely torrid season so far, getting scores of 4, 2, 0, and I got another 0 yesterday :( we got hammered, and not in the alcoholic way. I still love it though, there's nothing more exhilarating than somebody running in and hurling a ball at your chest at 80mph, with but a small plank of wood to fend it away.

I go bowling only a handful of times a year, but it's always good fun to go with a few friends and laugh because we're all so bad.

I referee every weekend during football season. It's good fun and a great challenge, especially now that I'm on the reserve grade men's and youth state league matches.

Summer is good for beach cricket/football/rugby. That's about it nowadays.

I'm a polarizing bowler. I can get antthing.

I'm a pretty big fan of improv comedy, but rarely can I actually do it.

I had a natural spin when bowling up until I broke my arm. It makes me so sad.

I used to play volleyball and tennis fairly often. Not so much anymore. Now my hobby is searching for new fish to add to my tank.
