He goes to the different worlds by using the "Interdimensional Interval"
by slicing through dimensions with Odin's Zantetsuken.
He does not make Ice Cream he buys it and eats it because it tastes good.

Excalibug (from FF1), excalipoor (unsure), masamune (unsure but I believe it was FF3 he got it) and Zantetsuken from Odin later on in the FF series.
Excalibur, Excalipur, Masamune, Zantetsuken(Odin FFVIII), Tournesol, Orichalcum, Fake Buster Sword, Chocobo Revolver(Gunblade), Fake Brotherhood, and the Wyrmhero Blade(Loto Sword).

His 8 armed form is his true form while he has 2 he is in a disguise to blend in with humans. In other words to not look like a monster and BECAUSE HE CAN.

GILGAMESH's divine purpose in life is to collect all the AUTHENTIC weapons, obtain the EXCALIBUR, talk ****, kick ass, and show every FF what a real HERO is.
FOR GILGAMESH, HE WILL FIGHT MEN, HE WILL FIGHT LADIES, AND HE WILL FIGHT LADIES WHO DRESS LIKE MEN, FOR GILGAMESH IT IS MORPHING TIME!!!
I actually thought Gilgameshes purpose in life was to live forever, either literally, or figuratively through his 'great' actions (like the heroic slaughter of Humbaba).
That's in the epic of Gilgamesh(not the FF GILGAMESH) where Gilgamesh feared death after his friend Enkidu was killed/died and sought to prevent his own death.
If Gilgamesh is so awesome, then why was he defeated by many FF characters and sealed away in the Dimentional Rift?
He never fights at full strength and runs away before defeat I.E. a smart villain.
Exdeath banished him to the Rift, because Exdeath knew GILGAMESH might become good and kick his ass.
If Gilgamesh starred in his own game which was a cross between Cooking Mama and a dating sim, what dish would he serve each FF heroine on their first date?

No cop outs, I want specific dishes for each of the ladies. You know as well as I do that Gilgamesh is the man with the ladies... and the gentlemen, and even the crossdressing people as well. ;)
Every dish is called the GILGAMESH SPECIAL but it's really just Ramen Noodles and its all he sells. And he uses different seasonings for every item on the menu.
