There's sex jokes and discussing sexual things kind of "perverted", which I'm fine with. In fact, I enjoy these people.
And then there's people who creep up and hit on you everywhere, who comment on any inch of breast or butt in a photo, no matter how innocent the photo may be kind of "pervert" and I don't like that.
I'm with Rye. I can dig pervy jokes but when it gets to the point in which I feel you're not joking it gets a little weird.
If it's in the name o' teh lulz I usually go along with it.

I generally have a laugh about perving, seriously. If I'm making perverted comments or statements it's 99% of the time a joke especially with people from here. If I was serious you'd all know about it lol, I'm very direct when I am interested in someone.

I make perverted comments here and there, of both "types", to make people uneasy or to gauge whether or not they react negatively towards that thing. If a person does react negatively, I tend to make a mental not to not be as perverted around them. If they react in a positive manner, I grab their crotch.

It depends. For the most part I don't mind, as long as someone's not all creepo or super annoying or just plain sexist about it. It's really smurfing annoying when I can't say or eat anything without someone making it into a sex joke. Let me eat my corndogs and popsicles in peace.
I don't really like it when EoFF goes through those perv phases where half of GC's threads are made or derailed into a "who is the most horny" contest, because these threads don't really interest me. One is fine on its own, but when I lose interest in most of GC I get super bored. I'm only especially bothered when the posters in the thread are like "I like boobs go make me a sandwich" "okay I will make you a sandwich because it is my duty as a woman."
I've got no problem with perverted humor and such, but there's a fine line between funny and downright creepy. >_>
Clever idea with the poll. As for me, I'm not a pervert, but I do have a perverted mind. Most of the time I keep it to myself.
Dirty jokes & the odd fake-hit on the internet is fine, in proportion. If the percentage of them in your everyday life creeps over the 30% mark of your everyday conversations. You're a creepy wee bollox.
No conversation is complete without some sort of dirty joke or perverted innuendo.

Well, pervy comments can usually make for a very funny conversation. But when it's some nasty, yellow toothed bum on the bus, leaning close and breathing hard while he fondles he crotch, there are some problems. Pervy humor is personally some of my favorite. It's boundless. There are, however, always certain individuals that manage to turn it into something really creepy.
So I suppose I should say, as long as it's not CREEPY and it's in the name of humor, it's perfectly acceptable.
I think we can conclude that
Perverted comments/actions made by random strangers = Bad Bad. :(
Perverted comments/actions made by friends and people you know = Funny. :bigsmile:

Also don't forget that when smelly old men say or do perverted things it's really creepy :(

from other people is creepy as hell. I staunchly ignore those people.

Yeah I agree harmless dirty jokes between friends is okay, but not when it's some random creeper on the street. But I have certain friends that I know not to joke around with like that because they don't get that humor or they end up being a lesbian and that's really awkward to repel...-_-

I think it's easiest for a lot of people to connect with others by adding some kind of sexual references in their post. I'm not that kind of a creative personality.
