The developers at first planned to make Lightning a flirtatious femme fatale. Fang was originally planned to be a male character. They then decided to transfer the sex appeal to Fang to make Lightning a more serious character. Thus I voted for Fang.
I personally would have liked Lightning to be a bit more flirtatious, but I like her character nonetheless.
I went for fang though lebreu damn I forgot about her:greenie:.
Sexiest? Lebreau, I suppose. Vanille is too cute to be sexy and Fang/Light are too butch to be sexy.
Lebreau, I suppose, though Fang's lust for battle turns me on quite a bit too.

I personally would see the Fang/Vanille thing as more of an "adoptive big sister/little sister" kind of thing, but, interpreting throught the viewpoints of others, they would think that the two are lesbians, and that originated from Fang's gender change.

Nothing is set in stone during the development of a game. What a character ends up as in the final game is what matters, not how many times the devs changed their mind while making the character. Do you think they intended for Vanille and Fang to be trapped crystal at the end since the first day they started the development? If not, were they "not supposed to be crystalized"? I bet there are tons of things that changed to something different than it started out as. You seem to be making a big deal out of this one issue because I dunno, you think a woman that doesn't act feminine is shocking? She can't possibly be heterosexual because she doesn't act in a feminine manner? I dunno, why don't you explain why?

This is such a hard choice, I'm torn between Vanille and Lightning, they're both "hot" in different ways. I voted Vanille though, since when I first played FFXIII I thought she was the "hottest."

Also, for some odd reason, I'm starting to feel as though Lightning's real name should have been either Samantha, Amanda, or Andrea, since she is very manly. Think of it this way: Samantha and Amanda, and Andrea is derived from the Greek word for man. Furthermore, I think Serah's name should have been Claire, since she isn't a princess, like the various other characters named Sara(h) in the series. As others have said, Fang and Lightning are quite... manly-ish with their actions, and Vanille is very cute.
I think Serah is the most well-rounded female though and if I were a lesbian (and if they were real) I'd date her.

When I said none of the XIII girls did it for me, I was also talking about their personalities. And I didn't explicitly vote for Nora, because she wasn't around long enough to make her endearing. She was more of a catalyst for Hope's motives.
