Ahahahaha, "Asian Camp."
The opening was really good. The rest was... odd. Rachel was funny. I liked the new people and am sad that they didn't go for it. :(

I liked it. The Sue trying to intimidate was so funny. The dog poo cookies xD That kid with the big mouth does... havea big mouth. It's odd to watch him. o.o
Yeah he does have a really big mouth. xD
I wonder if they cast a dude with a big mouth to make fun of it, or added that in after they cast him. Either way, ha.
Yes, they made a casting call for a guy with a big mouth.
Wanted: Male, attractive, range 15-18, over-sized mouth
I can see it.
xD at the big mouth kid. I like the new kids, I wonder how they'll fit in the story.
But seriously, dog poop cookies? :barf:
I was kinda skeptical about it at first because the second half of the first season was just really not to my liking, but this first episode was pretty decent.
I'm kinda glad they took out Ken and added that Beist lady, she seems like a more compelling character.
I wonder if we'll see more of Sunshine or if that was it.

Kurt's love interest has been cast! And it's Darren Criss from A very Potter Musical! (which if you haven't seen yet, you absolutely NEED to watch it, it's hilarious.)
Aww, I'm glad there will be a legit love interest for Kurt.
I was really looking forward to a Britney-heavy episode, for she is my favoritest character. Dispite all the over-produced horse:bou::bou::bou::bou: music, I was amused. Beist did something nice, Santana and Britney made me lol, Rachel and Finn were almost cute, Kurt got to be indignant, Shoe sang, and they did at least do the one Spears song I like (Toxic).
Jew-boy was freaking me the smurf out though.
And yay for Kurt!
I like when I watch this on Hulu, having myself some laughs, a few good knee-slappers, and then BAM -- a commercial about kids' parents dying of cancer.
All of the Britney stuff was kind of dull, but Brittany was really funny. I hope future episodes have more storylines for her. :D
Oh goodness her one liners. "This room looks like the one on the spaceship where I got probed."
I'm not a Britney Spears fan so I didn't care all that much about the stuff revolving her, but it was nice to see Britney S. Pierce (lol) to get a featured role. She did Britney's dances better than Britney!
Man, Brittany is really hot.
I actually want to see her do a number by Ke$ha now.
When she demanded all of the solos... AHAHAHA
So cute.
Yes! "I'm more talented than all of you, I see that clearly now."
Omg I was trying to hide tears :( This was a good, albeit sad, episode. :( :(
Kurt is the bestest. Also Grilled Cheesus ftw. Otherwise, episode was meh.
Grilled Cheesus is trending on twitter.
I may have to watch the latest episode just for Grilled Cheesus.
This is so creepy!
So I just assumed that the little kid playing younger Kurt had to be the actor's little brother or something. They look SO much alike. But he's not! They're totally not related at all. The kid is a doppelganger. O_o
http://i.imgur.com/kU1pB.jpg
Wow, I assumed he was his brother too. The flashbacks were so much cuter 'cause the kid looked just like him!
Holy crap, where did they find this kid? The only possible explanations are either cloning or time travel.
I thought they were related. :colbert:
I got excited when I heard the opening notes to Losing My Religion. :D
I think I started getting into the episode right after Rachel finished her Yentil song.I feel so over her character that it's really sad, she has like zero redeeming qualities anymore, lol.
I Wanna Hold Your Hand and Losing My Religion were fun!
Favorite episode yet and I'm not even half done. More Sue and that'll clench it.
Lots of Mike Chang.
Scissoring.
Finn getting called on his homophobia.
More Sam.
Right from the start, I gave you my heart.
ETA: Omg, right before Mike started to sing my computer rebooted itself. I shat.
Brittany and Santana making out.
Mike Chang singing was hilarious, that number rocked.
I think my favorite moment was Quin's face when Rachel and Finn were doing their duet though. XD
The Brittany Artie thing made me sad. She looked so hurt. :( Also Sam's nerdiness is cute. I didn't think I'd like him but I do now that he's nerdy!
I'm glad that they made Rachel kind of nice in this episode because she was really getting to a point there of just flat out unlikeable, lol.
I really liked the Mercedes/Santana duet although Sam/Quinn win for cute factor, I hope it works out between them!
Watching Brittany nudge the meatball all by herself was so sad :[
Dammit why did Finn back down! He was talking to the blanket and he knows it!
Also I dont get what was offensive about Finn and Rachels song
edit: Oh she was meant to be a catholic school girl, I thought she was meant to be a nun or amish
Awww, man. Brittany looked so sad about the Artie thing. I can't believe she did the meatball nudge by herself. D:
The Finn and Rachel thing was offensive because they were dressed as celibate religious figures singing a song about being born again through sex. Born Again is a religious term.
I kind of miss the lower-budget charm of the earliest episodes, where all the background dancers in the fantasy song sequences were just the other members of the group.
Yeah, I liked it better when the background dancers were the other characters too.
I really liked the girls' mashup, and I lol'd at the boys'. Also, totally saw both kisses coming.
Good episode.
I was thinking there'd be more bullying like gut wrenching make me cry bullyingness. But it wasn't :( Darren criss though. Omg do I love harry potter. :)
Did anyone else find Kurt creepy as hell in this episode?
He took Blaine's one text and blew it up to like serial killer proportions, magazine cut-out text and framed picture and all.
1) I did not find Kurt creepy in the least. I am into his new friend.
2) Schu kissing Biest was great! I'm glad they just left it like that, instead of her getting offended by a pity kiss or something.
3) Whatever ab thing Tina said today was the worst line ever uttered on television. I gagged and then promptly removed it from my memory.
4) I love mash-ups.
5) That gay jock pisses me off. I was surprised that his storyline didn't get resolved at all.
6) Artie + Puck = OTP
It's one thing to be thankful, like looking at his text of 'courage' more than a few times, because he's going through a tough time, but it's a whole other to recreate the text message in his locker out of magazine cutouts and then hang a framed picture of the person who was nice to you for 5 minutes.
It's funny how you had to add that he's gay, like it justifies something,or that it's part of his setback.
I personally like Blaine, he's a step up from the stereotypical gay you normally see on television.
Schu kissing Biest was a little strange, but I wonder if she'll think it's more now?
Him being gay was kind of the issue about all that. :roll2
It's why he was being bullied, not why he's crazy.
So a kid getting shoved into lockers isn't allowed to look up to someone who's helping him? :roll2
This episode was just creepy in general.
Yeah but he couldn't have just got a picture of Blaine. He probably gave it to him. So that's why he put it up in his locker.
Did anyone watch The Office episode centered around Glee? It was kinda hilarious, especially Kelly's assessment of Glee's crazy plot holes. :p
Gwyneth Paltrow was so good in this new episode, I hope she's around more!
She wasn't terrible, but there was waaayy too much of her in this episode. The kids never even sang that much. Usually a guest star gets like 1-2 numbers but she sang like what, 4 times? She's not even a singer.
Probably one of the worst Glee episodes ever in my mind.
I enjoyed it. The whole mercedes being the one going on about the tots though. It was like "really? I thought glee was suppose to BREAK stereotypes not enforce them."
Yeah that part sucked too. The very first scene where her eyes got all glassy when they put the tots out was very ugh.
Glee reinforces more stereotypes than it breaks. Effeminate gay guy? Check. Dumb as rocks Jock. Check. Slutty cheerleaders. Check. Sassy black girl who is also fat and therefore looove taters. Check. And on and on and on.
Sometimes it'll break a few stereotypes here and there. Artie isn't very stereotypical. But for the most part, Glee operates like a cartoon show.
She did sing alot, but it was always in a group setting, or with someone else there like her number with Rachel (which involved like 2 lines worth of singing) so it never came across as overbearing.
Plus, I feel like she's definitely an actress who can sing, especially after her performance at the CMAs and her new movie where she actually sings.
And the whole Mercedes/Tater relationship bothered me too, especially when Kurt was all, "You just need a man to substitute your eating habits, that's all!"
I thought he would be a little bit more compassionate about her situation seeing as before last episode, he was in the same place, and they are supposed to be good friends.
No sympathy for fatties!
Though, let's be honest: Who doesn't love tots? I don't eat them 'cause I don't want to be a fatty, but I can't deny I loves them.
(P.S. I gained three pounds in San Francisco even without the macaroni and tots. ;___;)
Fireworks and a wall of lights? a waterfall? How the hell can the glee club afford all this equipment!?
They don't have to pay for equipment, just shrooms.
This was definitely one of the weaker episodes, if not the worst. :( Mercedes going ballistic over tots was smurfing retarded, Holly was too prominent, Kurt was kind of a jerk, and I still hate their version of Cee Lo's song.
Who cares? That was awesome. I did like the last number quite a bit.
I actually preferred it when the Glee club was this low budget production. Do you guys remember their first song/dance number? Shuffling around in the classroom while one person pushed Artie around. :p I thought that stuff was great. So were the storylines about how the Glee club was a lot poorer compared to other schools, couldn't pay for a special bus to accommodate wheel chairs, didn't have the money to compete on the same level costume/production wise as Vocal Adrenaline, etc.
And now there are these crazy ass elaborate numbers where they're not even trying to ground it in reality. Like I said, it's like a cartoon show.
Yeah, but cartoons rule.
Carol Burnett has been the best guest star this season. She was hilarious, and her song with Sue was very good. I hope she gets an emmy nomination for this appearance.
Now that the plot is finally moving forward I hope the show picks up. Also any time Fynn has a solo I cringe. Or Schuester for that matter (he's a decent singer but he looks so sleezy doing it).
I loved her as a Nazi hunter, it was so out there XD I also loved their duet, it was really cute.
I'll have to disagree on moving the story forward though. The one thing that shows that they are moving forward was the mention of a setlist for Sectionals, but otherwise we're still in the bully arc for Kurt.
You'll have to forgive me if it sounds biased or whatever, but there's just too much of Kurt this season just like it was too much of Rachel last season. Even during the wedding sequence when it was supposed to be about the people getting married,it was all about Kurt; their vows to each other both mentioned him and during Finn's best man toast which was supposedly dedicated to his mother really ended being about Kurt.
Too much exposure :/
People think he's the best character and deserves all of this praise because he's the only one we've really focused on when there are about 5 or 6 other characters that we've barely scratched the surface with.
/rant
Murphy is just stupid when it comes to other characters. there has been loads of Kurt development but everyone else is kinda left behind. The consistency is just x.x He could actually be furthering the plot and development of MULTIPLE characters rather than all this guest star nonsense.
Dont they still need one more person to make up the numbers? Maybe he's building up to some surprise twist where the bully joins Glee :p
Lamest episode ever.
Lamer than Paltrow's episode? That was pretty high on the lame scale.
I thought Paltrow's was fine.
People are finally starting to take notice that Kurt has a problem, they have his back, Sue and Schuster are on the lookout, his father and stepmother are aware of the issue, and suddenly now he has to transfer schools. "I have a bunch of people supporting me now? Oh well, I'mma take my parents' honeymoonn savings and transfer anyway." Lame.
And, okay, throwing together a wedding in less than a week? With choreography? Come on. Even for TVland that's ridiculous. Keep it simple and save for a honeymoon? With that many guests, that is at least a $20,000 wedding. Easily. Could be double that, depending. And the bridal gown was hideous and bulky. And as previously mentioned, (and in addition to being way over-the-top cheesy even for Glee) it was all about Kurt. And that snippy comment by the preacher at the start of the ceremony pissed me off. Why didn't he just say "Well, we usually pray in church, but this homo hates God so instead I'm just going to shut up and let the bride and groom talk about how much they love their condemned son anyway"?
The Sue marrying herself thing wasn't funny weird, it was just way over the top stupid and added nothing to the story. All of the scenes with Carol Burnett could have happened without the ridiculousness of Sue marrying herself.
The plot holes in this show just piss me off.
And they didn't even have a song for the first 17 minutes! WTF!
Totally relevant.
That said, I've not seen the show, but I've heard a couple songs preformed by the Glee cast.
THe last one being Only the Good Die Young, and oh my god was it painful to hear. I can't vouch for the singers actual ability, but the entire song reeks of this terrible studio altered sound. The stories and characters could be amazing, but if even half the songs come out sounding like that, no way would I sit through it.
I actually liked this past episode since it utilized alot of the other members of the Glee club, namely finally giving Santana a solo, and also finally redeeming Rachel in my eyes, somehow.
Her little talk with Kurt was really cute and touching, but she still kept her self-absorbedness, which I like since it's still part of her character (just in moderation Ryan Murphy, plz).
THIS episode moved the plot forward, finally.
Agreed. This episode did not suck.
Brit + Artie = OTP 4 sho
I think I hate this show now.
Congratulations on obtaining your sanity, Miriel.
Hey, it started off pretty good! Until it choked on its own hype and started spewing up bile.
I have absolutely no interest in Glee after Season 1 because it's obsessed with it's own hype, as Miriel said. It's just gross. Too big for its own britches already.
Ive seen some unrealistic cheesy christmas episodes in my time but this...:barf:
Awww I liked it :(
It's like this episode tried to cram it's gooey sweetness down my throat until I would surely vomit. But I resisted.
Though Artie and Brit can do no wrong. heart heart heart
Britney is seriously retarded. Not meant to say that as the insult. Her character literally must be retarded to believe the stuff she does. Mentally handicapped in some way. Which makes every guy who has slept with her a rapist.
The jokes are funny (Sue slithering under the tree in her grinch outfit made me laugh), and the songs are cool sometimes (loved the homage to the old Rudolph special), but other than that I don't really care about any of the characters or storylines anymore. Especially Rachel and Fynn. Those two could not even be in an episode and I probably wouldn't notice.
"Just know you have rights"
Did anyone else notice that when Kurt and Blaine were doing 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' they left out some lyrics?
Like in the episode Blaine doesn't say 'Gosh, your lips look delicious' and 'Ooh, your lips are delicious', but he he does say it on the studio version.
That being said, besides Coach getting Artie those leg things, this scene was really the only one I liked.
I did not notice because I don't know the lyrics to that song, so thanks for pointing it out.
I want some boy-boy kissing!
Me too! I was watching it with my mom, and the whole time she was like "This is disgusting Rachael'' and I just like 'Shut up mom, Kurt and Blaine are adorable, I want to see some boy kissing'. :jess:
