Moonboots - Wear 'em or burn 'em?

As much as I love diversity in clothing, there are some ungodly abominations of weirdo fashion that simply deserve to be abolished and punishable by stocks to be seen wearing.

EoFF, meet moon boots. If you're pregnant, elderly, or otherwise have a sensitive stomach, I advice you not to view this.

Since there has been some controversy lately in my inner social circle about whether these are to be worn with pride or rounded up and burned, I feel compelled to poll the EoFF public to settle this matter once and for all.

They remind me of the 90's.

As for moon boots....Winter wear comes to mind......

Fur biker vest worn over a black 3 quarter sleeve cotton/lycra turtle neck...Skinny iridescent jeans and moon boots....

Now while I think they are capable of looking great, I probably wouldn't actually own any because I prefer to own two or three pairs of shoes that go with all of my clothes rather than seven pairs that only go with one or two outfits each.

Can I burn them and then wear them?

They’re horrible, but they don’t have anything on ugg boots. At least anybody wearing moon boots couldn’t be taking themselves seriously.

Those things look pretty kickass to me. I'd wear them if only to pretend I was actually on the moon. To the grocery store isn't out of the question either.

That's something that has occurred to me, too! I was just looking through the thread to see if someone also had this idea.
