I managed to time it so that my alarm goes off in the morning to the Cher and Sonny song - I Got You Babe, at the exact moment that it does for Bill Murray in Groundhog Day when he repeats the same day over and over again.
I woke up to it this morning and I've never felt so alive.
So what do you all wake up to? Radio? Song? Boring beep? Your dog licking your face?
Boring, but extremely loud beep. I use to wake up to an Alicia Keys' song. On the days I have off, or summer days I usually wake up to my sister jumping on the trampoline. I just realized how badass it would be to wake up The Sopranos theme.
I wake up when i feel liek waking up :p
if I have to get up for some reason then I use the buzzer. Music puts me to sleep:p
I wake up to Ride of the Valkyries. It's an adventure getting to the shower every morning.
I use this song as my alarm.

I'm a really light sleeper so I don't need a loud and annoying ringtone or sound to wake me up. Waking up in a very peaceful manner usually means I'll have a better day.

I miss my alarm, but I gave my phone away [well whatever] to my brother so i could use my new phone. And the phone hasn't been set up with mp3s.
So it's a weird buzzing with beeping added for flavor.

I've had various alarm sounds on my phone, they all get really annoying, and for some stupid reason my phone doesn't have a vibrate only setting for the alarm, it just vibrates as well as plays the tune. So this morning I finally figured out how to have vibrate - I record 3 seconds of silence, then set that as the alarm. So it just vibrates, and loops 3 seconds of silence over and over. :cool:

I usually wake up to whatever song is playing on my alarm clock radio. The problem is the dial is in between stations, so there isn't really any specific song playing as much as there is this really loud crackling sound. Which is fine because I just need a loud noise to wake up to.
When somebody walks into my room I wake up almost immediately, but it takes the radio right next to my face close to 20 minutes to get me out of bed.
I have a different tune for every day (gotta love the iPhone for being able to set all of that up), so that I don't grow to hate any of the songs. In any case, I always wake up 5 minutes before my alarm. XD
I use a Rube Goldberg machine to wake me up at 6 am every day.
Got an old alarm, so I have to use the radio to wake me up, and I hate it. But, it's better than having a beep, what an agressive and wrong way to start the day !

Works nicely, nice and cheery, and doesn't seem to get annoying/wrecked by hearing it every moring.
I'm the same way, I'll program some kind of alarm or song into my ipod to wake me up in the morning, and despite the times always being different, I always wake up a good 10 minutes before it goes off, so it's like all for naught :/Quote:

I use my phone's alarm to wake up, though I have it set to: alarm_bold by Stewart Copeland. It sounds like a ringing melody thing, but I almost don't remember what it is when I'm awake.
Though when I have to wake up for something I normally wake up before it rings, dunno why...:confused:
This makes me wake up ready to take on the day.
