smurf MATH
This thread had to be made.
You're god damn right it did.
I'm not a fan of math either. It's mathy.
Im sure math hates you more than you hate math.
Math blows.
0.999...=1
pi(e)r^2
I tried so hard with math in high school, but I was never good at it. And then they put me in a remedial math class in college because I did so poor on the math portion of the entrance exam, and I felt stupid so it made me hate math even more.
smurf math. :mad2:
I can't stand math either. Don't like how colleges force it on you no matter what major you're going for. I don't see a justification of it. If I was interested in learning more math I would do it on my own accord instead of paying to take something that I do not enjoy and have no interest in. Colleges just want to squeeze out as much money as they can before you leave.
I like math. I'm great at it up to a point and then I am completely and utterly incapable at doing it, there's just this sheer cliff face where I am prevented from progressing. But I like what I can do. Numbers either make perfect sense or they are completely counterintuitive, and I like both.
Also I loooove patterns in numbers. Love them. When I watch a movie, I'm looking at the timer on the DVD player as much as I am at the screen, always seeing how things add up or divide or whatever, so that I can make them equal on both sides of the :
I liked math in school. I didn't care for geometry (mostly because of the teacher) and statistics, but I love algebraic math. It's all just logic puzzles, which are fun and interesting. Calculus was good times.
I passed out entirely of math in college, though, and I never cared enough to voluntarily take another class.
I think you guys mean Maths
x-5 = x + 7
x-5-7 = x
x - 12 = x
x = x + 12
QED
I loved maths at school. Then I did it at A Level stage. Then I hated it
Argh I hate being made to take classes that have nothing to do with my major. Two whole years of tuition get wasted on information I'll never use. I'm all for learning just for the sake of learning, but only when I can afford to do it.
That said I've always enjoyed math. It came easily to me in high school, and I showed up to my College Algebra class like four times, and only because there were tests on those days. Calculus however I actually had to study for and Discrete Math was like wut (though really interesting when I did understand it).
If i'm in the middle of any procedure that involves 3 or more greek symbols excluding pi then I hate maths
Otherwise I love it.
I abhor math. I had to do my first bit of math last night in years (adding up different parts of the bill to find my part of the payment) and I seriously struggled and had to do it over and over like nothing else.
Math is easy.
I like math. Fractions are my friend. When BJ and I go out to dinner, I always calculate the tip.
I have considered going back to school to get a math teaching credential, so I can teach high school math.
I love math. Calculus will teach you all about curves. :bigsmile:
I also hate math. I don't need to know nothing about curves that my butt didn't teach me.
HEYO!
Yeah, math sucks. When I see the words "solve for x" I throw a table. I may use a bit of it in daily life but I'm certainly not missing half of the problem.
I wish I was good at math. I really do. This is the case of me hating something I don't understand. Just be glad I don't apply this to social scenarios. :colbert:
I love maths. However I am also quite awful at it. It makes me angry because I want to be a maths guy.
Math is the worst.
Math can go smurf itself with a million blazing chainsaws.
Maths = <3
I get paid pretty well to do math all day. :D
