This is where we find out the whole "need more time need more time SHUT IT DOWN" process was just a marketing ploy, like Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy.
Looking forward to the demo to see if I should keep my expectations low about the game.
I'm kinda sad that my favorite 13 year old joke now has a punchline. ;__;
Duke Nukem Forever embodies the 90's and for that alone I'm buying the game. At the same time, as a game, it'll be nothing special. Hopefully I'm wrong.
I don't care if it's not good, I'm just going to enjoy it because of Duke Nukem. The trailer for me didn't look amazing. But it looked fun, and that's good enough for me.
I expect the box to have a bad case of acne all over it, and a shyness around females

It's actually kind of sad that this is coming out. It will likely be a mediocre game at best, and completely forgotten about within a few months after its release. Whereas its nonrelease has been a running geek joke for over a decade.

The actual game had already been completed by 3D Realms and Gearbox only worked on the console ports, they most just picked it up so there would be a studio stamp somewhere on it.Quote:
