I think that Tifa should have worn this outfit for Advent Children:

It's closer to her classic attire.
But every time she kicks someone the world sees her vagoo D:
Yeah I've always felt her AC outfit was too far from her game outfit in style. They needed to shorten up that skirt or capri pants or whatever the hell they had her wear.
I thought her AC outfit was actually pretty good and much less ridiculous than this or her FF7 outfit.
Right, because we all know that females always stick to the same style of clothing for years on end.
Weird how despite all the complaints about X-2, nobody mentioned "Yuna not wearing her summoning outfit anymore".
Tifa's AC outfit was great. There is so much more to her character besides revealing clothing and fanservice, and I am dismayed by how many people seem to miss that.
i wasnt rlly blown away by the Tifa's outfit at AC.. but Not becaus it didnt match with FF7...
i think that one on the picture would look nice yes :)
p.s how about short pants instead of a skirt? thatll solve the problem ^^
Hey guys, it's pretty normal that a woman has more than one set of clothes, and definitely when it's two years since last time you saw her. Gotta keep up with fashions, you know.
we don't get a lot of information about fashion and women here in our basements
Oversized breasts are overrated. Her AC rack is excellent.
I think the vest needed to be shorter and more revealing, like her Crisis Core vest.
Of course, I would've also liked her to wear a pair of short-shorts (mid-thigh-length shorts) underneath her skirt.
Good tactic to throw off the opponent!
IT WOULD BE THE MOST ILLEGAL MOVE EVER!
Sure, but her classic outfit (and breast size) is ridiculous and 100% fanservice.
I don't think her breast size was ridiculous (at least, not going by the image of her in the characters area of the manual) but I do agree that her outfit was ridiculous considering what she was getting up to in battles. But then, most Final Fantasy outfits have been ridiculous. But yeah, I know a few girls who have breasts about that size. It's more common over here than in America, though, I understand. Despite me thinking the breasts weren't unrealistic, I do agree that they were fanservice, though. And I don't mind. ;)
Never said I minded either :p.
What size are her boobs, anyway? F or G-cup? Just curious...
That depends on which form you're talking about. In thebattlefield sequences in FFVII, they're far smaller than the FMV sequences, for example. The range for me can go from around B to H. Danielle (who has, uh, experience in such matters) says she's probably an E cup.
Attachment 34071tifa shoulda worn this
No, because then she would be cosplaying as Rikku.
Sounds like a good idea to me.
I really like her AC outfit. It's better than this one. Although, I wouldn't mind it because it does look pretty good.
I'm more interested in why Cloud looks like Sting from the original Dune.
Uhhhh...admittedly it's been a few years, but I remember one of the main sore points a lot of fans had was that her FFX-2 outfit made her look like a ho bag. I liked both outfits, and both of Tifa's outfits. Just saying that I actually did hear a lot of complaints about Yuna's outfit.
Naw, Rikku is who started dressing like a hoe-bag. :(
And I hate it because I thought she looked much better in X.
There were many complaints about the various outfits and dresspheres, yes. But none of them were just "it was different from what she wore last game".
For that matter, we haven't had a single complaint about the new XIII-2 trailer because Lightning is wearing a different outfit in it.
You know, on second thought, I would have actually liked Tifa (and Yuffie too) to make herself over by implementing some of Aerith's style into her fashion sense. You know how Yuna paid tribute to Tidus in Final Fantasy X-2 by adopting his hair style and his symbol? I would have liked Tifa to make a similar tribute to Aerith in the same manner.
I find the one from AC to be more appropriate for battle, so it kind of makes more sense than her running around fighting monsters in a mini skirt. /:
i like her AC outfit, the only thing that wouldnt make it such a great combat suit is that it looks sort of heavy and theres like... too much going on with her shorts... im just saying. XD
ooeeehhh =D look what i found @ Naruto

Its Yuffie!!! =D
This isn't the topic for that, Shaibana.
Back on topic: I think that if not a mini-skirt, she should wear mid-thigh short shorts.
ya wel im not gonna make a new topic for 1 picture ^^
That outfit actually looks a lot like her AC outfit anyway. But I'd stick with her AC outfit. Though I'm a big fan of duster styles
Yes, it's like her AC outfit, but more revealing.
Speaking of which, I noticed that when wearing either her classic outfit or her Crisis Core "cowgirl" outfit in Dissidia 012, during chase sequences, I noticed a very brief "panty shot." I do think though, that even though I like that outfit better, that she should have protected her modesty a little better by at least wearing a pair of short shorts underneath her mini-skirt. Lightning wears short shorts underneath her skirt, and I think that Tifa should have done the same.
Well, the reason why Yuna and Lightning changed attires is because the former switched her job class from summoner to gunner, while Lightning now resides in a different world than in the previous game. No such things were applied to Tifa, though, so I think that they should have made her outfit to be the one I posted in the image at the top of this thread.
Tifa's outfit in AC is far more flattering and appropriate than in FFVII, where there's a lot of dissonance between her appearance with her personality. Although it wouldn't have been so bad with the addition of a dark colored jacket.
Not only do I like Rikku's attire in FFX better than in FFX-2, I like her best in the goggles and jumpsuit. But that's just me.
Guys should take off some clothes first :D
Update: Hey, it's been a while, but I recently found this image, and I think that this is what she should wear when spending time with her adopted children:

But what I really like to see (if they make another FFVII-related compilation chapter) is to see Tifa wearing a partial midriff-baring leather vest over a midriff-baring tank top (which would stop at the belly button) and low-rise skinny leather trousers (akin to one of Tetsuya Nomura's original fashion ideas for her before he decided on the mini-skirt) and sneakers, plus longer hair with a variation of Aerith's hairstyle.
haha thats a cute picture
But Marlene is Barret's adopted kid :o
Well, these days Marlene loves Uncle Cloud more than burly Barret.
My only problem with Tifa's AC look was that bartender waist-rag. That thing just annoyed the hell out of me.
Rikku: It's settled. SE needs to make FFX-3 so they can dress Rikku like an adult and cease the incessant and childish flame-mageddon over her X-2 sluttiness. Drown in the tears of your despair, y'all bunch of unwashed adolescent mouth-breathers.
Yes, and they also adopted Shelke, the youngest former Tsviet, in Dirge of Cerberus.
BTW IMO in the 1st pic, Cloud looks kind of German in profile... which makes sense 'cause apparently Strife is a German name... apparently. That should be his depiction in future VII movies... and yes, there should be future VII movies.
Her old and new outfit aren't great imo. The first is just kinda lame. White beater? Really? The second isn't great for practical reasons. It looks like it's made of leather and skirts are never good to wear when you're planning on pulverizing enemies.
Perhaps a skin-tight spy catsuit, then?
If AC was true to the game, her boobs should have been ten cup sizes larger as well.
