Talking and the bathroom.

It's a pet peeve of mine when people talk to me while I'm in the bathroom. I just don't like carrying a conversation and pooping at the same time. It's even more annoying when I'm in the shower because both me and whoever is trying to talk to me have to go WHAT? after every sentence. It doesn't even have to be a conversation really. If the bathroom door is closed and I am in it, don't talk to me. It just feels like you're there in the bathroom with me and that's just plain weird. Luckily it hasn't happened since I lived with my parents. I'm slightly more comfortable with conversation in public restrooms.

I'm pretty sure talking in the bathroom was mentioned in the Bible as one of the greater sins against mankind.

Sucky quality clip but.

What annoys me is when people before you weren't sweetie enough to wipe the seatie.

I am hesitant to talk while peeing, but I will. I don't mind talking while peeing to certain people, like my husband or sisters. I will not talk while pooping though. Mostly because I try to poop at home. I will text while pooping though.

ETA: Yes, I hate it when people sprinkle when they tinkle but aren't a sweetie!

Girls are messed up

I have this story I tell girls for some reason. Back in the day this girl Angie would call me from the washroom and just talk to me. I was like lalala wait, your voice has an echo ARE YOU IN THE WASHROOM ARGH

I guess it's a very amusing story because afterward no less than 3 girls have called me from the washroom after hearing that story.

Why do you call it a washroom?

I'm going to find each of you and hold conversations while you're pooping.

To be fair it does make more sense than "bathroom" unless you specifically have a bathtub.

Restroom?

Water closet?

Though I tend to stick with "toilet."

I can converse with a friend at the urinal since we're both in the same state of vulnerability but if I'm doing my business i dont want to be disturbed by someone who has the conversational high ground. I also never want to talk to someone when they might be defecating so I dont talk in the stalls.

That's ick. I don't mind talking to girls in the bathroom while peeing or while they're peeing, but if anyone's pooping that should be your own business!

The guy I'm dating talks to me on the phone while he's peeing all the time. I'll pick up the phone and then just hear peeing. He pees super loud too, or at least it goes through the phone super loud, and he manages to do it like every time we talk... I make fun of him and say that he can only pee when he's speaking to me. xD

You be careful! He may want to pee in your presence. :O

Hahaha, he used to try to make me watch him pee all the time! Because sometime after we first started dating, we were just talking and then he whipped it out and started peeing, and I was like WTF o_o and freaked out and ran away. He thought my reaction was hilarious so he kept trying to make me watch, and I kept freaking out and running away. Until eventually, I got used to it and then it wasn't as amusing anymore so he doesn't try anymore. :mog:

Yeah talking and :bou::bou::bou::bou: is a no go in the toilet. It seems to be a generally accepted rule among people I know. A friend and I both had to take a slash and the conversation stopped as soon as we were in the toilets and resumed once we were both out.

I hate washing my hands at the same time as someone else. Dunno why. It's weird. I don't want to be near anyone in a toilet.

I once called a friend who seemed a bit distracted when he answered, but when I asked him if he needed to go he told me no. A few sentences and grunts later, he explained that he had been masturbating and had reached the point of no return but that it had seemed rude to not answer the phone... :Oo:

Man what is wrong with people getting all asocial these days. I have zero problems with talking to people while taking a piss or a dump. Back in the roman days, all people had was public toilets where everyone :bou::bou::bou::bou:ted next to each other. I'm sure about half of the world's population still does that. Damn consumer culture of selfishness etc.

To be fair, HC's story is pretty good.

I never have conversations while I'm taking a crap, but if I'm just taking a piss, it's not too bad.

Talking in the crapper eh? (yes thats an actual name for it I have been known to use on occasion) Well it depends if I'm washing my hands and someone happens to be having convo with me then sure thats fine or if I know the person then thats not so bad so long as I'm not taking a dump.

If I'm drunk then I'll pretty much have a convo with anyone whilst taking a piss but never when taking a dump thats weird straight up weird.

My only bad phone habit in regards to the toilet is I will text people as I take a dump in work thats kinda actually the best chance I get to text whilst working is to take a toilet break.

I get really annoyed when I go into the bathroom at work and I'm in there trying to pee and then two coworkers come in and are talking to each other, and then they continue their conversation as they go into the stalls next to mine.

It's like, I'm trying to pee, I don't really want to be in the middle of your conversation. >.>

My friend and I used to talk in the bathroom on how cute our poo poo is and it will be a wonder if we can poo the same poo poo the next time together! :bigsmile:

Too bad everytime I poo, it is just not the same poo poo! :(

Well, we just installed a stone slate floor in our upstairs bathroom. So sound really carries. Just waking up with gas in the night and going in there can wake up the entire house hold...

It echoes in there...and everything is intensified so everyone can hear what's going on in there...every one knows about your nasty...everyone knows if you went doodo or pee pee...
