Okay, so I managed to get my phone to have the battle music from Final Fantasy as its ringtone, so now it's like I'm entering a random battle whenever I receive a phone call. It's pretty sweet.
What do you have as your phone's ringtone? If you use the phone's default ringtone, your phone is less awesome than mine.
My current ringtone is the intro to this song.
Ringtone: intro to Lacuna Coil's "Heaven's a Lie".
Texts/alerts: Power Rangers beeper.

Text message tone is the first 8 bars of that.
Ring tone is the start of the buildup that starts going "insane... insane... insane..." :cool:

I don't ever take my phone of silent anymore, but before I made that commitment to silence I had the victory theme from IX on it. It was like winning every time someone text or called me, which wasn't very often so it felt like it went well.
My phone is on silent, but at the moment my phone and text tones are songs nobody here would know. I used to have a rock mix of the halo theme as my message tone, it was like destroying the covenant with every text! My phone tone was the boss theme from FF7 too so that was smurfing awesome. I occasionally (see: never) answered the phone just so I could listen to it.
I use Zelda sounds for my notifications. Except my mother's ringtone, which is the Imperial March (you know, Star Wars... Vader).
my phones beeps. I have a blackberry I don't friggen get calls from people!
With mp3 ringtones and customizable response based on your friends list, you'd be a fool not to have the voice of the person calling you say 'HEY ANON PICK UP NOW'

I was sitting on a bus a few months back and I heard a lady's ringtone go off, it was an extended series of R2's beeps and bloops. As soon as she had finished her call, I jumped up, sat near to her and said, "I have a proposal for you. If you send me a copy of your R2 ringtone, I'll send you a copy of the Imperial March." She accepted, and after a little bluetoothing I was the proud owner of an awesome R2 message tone.Quote:
