I recently got a whole mess of my baby pictures from my nan, of which my Mum lost all of her copies in a move. So I'm going to stick them in a photo album and give that to her. She's also visiting from Melbourne (other side of the country), so I'll get to give them to her in person, just means I have to wait a week after Mother's Day to do it.
Same thing I do every Mother's Day.
I'm giving my mom flowers and a present of which I still need to find.

My mom's birthday is also this month, and I tend to do more for that then for Mother's Day. Her mother usually makes us go to her church with her, and then we just hang out.
I'll probably do the usual take her out to lunch thing, and then do some yard work and other chores for her that she doesn't like to do. Maybe clip the hair on the dogs for summer. Boooring.
I'll just give her a phone call. Not much else I can do several states away! In a few days I'm going with Mogi to Georgia, so I'll be meeting his mom's side of the family for the first time.
Imma go take her to dinner.

Mother's Day was a while back for the UK. I rang her. This was a big thing for me, because I usually forget until my sister sends me a text. That will probably happen on the NZ Mother's Day, though.
Why does the UK have a different mothers day? ARE YOUR MOTHERS MORE SPECIALER?
