The fish story is awesome.
Nobody wants to party with me.
I had to finish school anyway.
boooooo. on a holiday!
I really don't know why non-hispanic people celebrate cinco de mayo. We had a catered luncheon todayt at my work where everyone os white.
Never heard of it... But it is Friday, so I'll be getting drunk anyway.
I had two delicious margaritas and an excellent dinner with my friends!
ee, you really don't know what cinco de mayo is? :(
I don't believe there are many Mexicans down under.
We call NSWelshmen mexicans 'cause they're always border jumping to the fantastic place that is QLD. Don't listen to Cbc or Sir Lancealot (or even Mo-Nercy!); Queensland is the superior state.
Hah! Ehe! AHAHAHAHAHA!!
Oh, Jiro, you poor, deluded banana bender.
I had a quesadilla for breakfast.
My cuban side demands the education of these Drinko de Mayo ignorant smurfers. :vader:
You must educate them!
What is special about the 5th of May?
White people like to get drunk on tequila and Mexican beer.
I know. But what about my question?
Cinco de Mayo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
tbf I was drunk because it was the end of the semester and many of my friends are going back to Japan and Taiwan, so we had one last party.
My friends and I will be celebrating seis de mayo tonight, because I really want Mexican food, but going to a Mexican restaurant on May 5 is a cliché and it would probably be full of drunk white people anyway.
I partied myself to sleep by the time this thread was made :p
Cinco de Mayo is the Black History Month for Mexicans, crammed into one day, and celebrated by drinking ourselves stupid. It is how we envision Mexican culture, man. That aside, any holiday which excuses one to indulge in good food and drink is a great holiday. Green chile cheeseburgers and slush margaritas were had from the afternoon to the wee hours. Also, the weather was great, so chilling outside in lounge chairs just to talk was worthwhile.
Wait, Mexicans celebrate Mexican culture by getting hammered?
Mexicans think they're Irish?
Also I'm getting drunk tonight I call it Septo de Mayo
wat. :|
I did not realize you lived in Mexico, qwertysaur.
Nor did I.
Nope, there are just a lot of Mexicans around where I live, and the restaurant near my house is also very good. :p
