Oh Noes! Portal 2 is an offensive insensitive anti-adoption game!
-
This is frustratingly stupid.
Wonder when my five minutes will come.
-
I bet he is also upset about the lack of cake.
-
It seems to me he's just whining for the sake of whining. I can understand that an adoption joke might offend some people, but that's when you turn the game off, not call up the news station.
-
Well, the point of the adoption jokes were to be offensive. So good job, fictional villain.
-
Oh lord. I don't even want to know lalalala
-
This is where I'd normally say something about video games being used as a scapegoat but this time for something this stupid don't reckon I'll bother!
-
"VIDEO GAME MAKES FUN OF ADOPTION."
Anyway, the clip in that news story reveals major spoilers about the game.
-
The spoiler is that there are no portals, only HATS.
-
-
I just saw a follow-up to this. I seriously don't understand why this made the news. The guy's not even flipping out; he's just kinda upset.
The news caster went into how much crap she's getting from gamers, and read a couple of emails like "Why are you even covering this? What are you hoping to accomplish here?" I was amused.
-
I would very much enjoy a link to that.
-
-
"It's a fantastic game, it's a great game, it's just that one little blurb in there..."
If you like the game why did you whine about it to your local news station? :Oo:
-
That's some horrendously bad journalism.
-
I'm waiting for the day Portal 2's blamed for promoting eating disorders - since the antagonists both try to taunt the lithe, athletic Chell about being fat.
Also, the alien-infested landscape of Half-Life 2 is strewn with wrecked cars. As a car owner, I find that offensive and traumatising somehow. I think I'm going to need some money, and probably a few minutes of media attention, in order to get over the anguish.
-
Valve - Ruining your life since [I'm too traumatised to remember]
-
Oh God, this is stupid. This guys is mildly irritated by the joke in regards to his daughter and that's it. He still praises the game. It's an E-rated game. I bet there's loads of PG-rated films with similiar jokes. This is just childish of the news station.
