I'm getting the itch to watch "Hackers" again. What a gloriously cheesy movie. It just circles all the way right back around to "amazing". I think I'll watch it sometime this week.

Waterworld..
DRY LAND IS NOT A MYTH!
+1 to Waterworld.
The 5th Element.
Oh, and A Goofy Movie.
I'll think of some more.
This is a bit tough to answer; Some movies that are considered Cheesy aren't always so to me. For example some people find the Final Destination a bad cheesey series, but I feel that those that do, have completly missed the point of them (the storyline is actually pretty clever/thought provoking to me).
The Cartoon version of Narnia (English voices, not American) is SO cheesey what with the terrible voice acting, and embarrasing to look at animation (the American VA is less over the top), but as a movie I watched as kid, I still like it. And yes, I noticed this as a kid too.
Also, on the flip side of the coin (about me finding so called "cheesey" to be more serious than people give them credit for), I've always found The Lion King to be pretty cheesey. Entertaining as it is, it's not as heart warming as people say it is, in my opinion.
My two favorite movies are the original Conan the Barbarian and Legend. I love them and think they're amazing, but I guess they're a little cheesy. :greenie:
Nothing beats The Room for me. It is simultaneously baffling, atrocious, and utterly hilarious; I will never figure that movie out out. My friends and I will quote the movie numerous times in a single day.
I had, as many of you probably have, seen the famous youtube clip before I saw the full movie. When a friend suggested watching the whole thing, I was a bit apprehensive at first, but I gave it a go and I did not regret one minute of it. The whole movie is just a "wtf just happened"-fest. Check out this clip as an example. Then watch the whole thing.
Cheesy?

Terrible?

I love both these films.
Feast Trilogy, Hostel Trilogy, The Hill Have Eyes. Any cheesy, gory, movie with terrible acting, but lots of slashing. I love them all.
Oh yeah, Wrong Turn Trilogy, and the 4th movie recently released.
The only acceptable answer to this thread is ConAir.

No. No sir. :zombert:
Mortal Kombat movie
I second Mortal Kombat. Especially Annihilation. Also, the Gumby movie.
I don't consider Waterworld, The Fifth Element or Con Air to be terrible or overly cheesy. They may have their moments, but I wouldn't use those words as key to their description.
A cheesy movie that I love? Demolition Man. Now that's some good cheese. Have a joy joy day! I'm not sure on terrible movies that I like, though. Tough to think of any off the top of my head.
Demolition Man is a good one. It reminds me of Running Man, which is terribly cheesy, but I still watch it.
Running Man reminds me of being 12 or so and all night marathons of Super Smash TV with my friend.
Good luck! Yooouuu'll NEED it!
I love that movie, but it IS cheesy. There's no way around it. I had this argument with my friend last year. He liked it. I said it was really good B rated Sci-Fi. He got upset, we watched together, and he agreed. Nostalgia does crazy things. It's good, but it's cheesy as hell.
You know what movie is terrible and great?
Independence Day.
Sorry Pike, but you just stepped into the middle of a Brofist sandwich.

Oh, yeah Steet Fighter: The Movie already mentioned by DMKA, but yeah, got it, love it, but still find it a faliure as far as living up to the audiance's expectations go. To be honest, the best way to make the movie slightly better is (sadly) to pretend it isn't based on Street Fighter: The Game and is just a story of it's own - defeats the object, I know, but the problem fans had with it is that the writer knew next to nothing of the storyline, and just used the characters, right? However since Street Fighter is worse than Tekken used to be in telling its storyline - how did the fans even know that the storyline was so corrupted in the movie? But yeah, back on track, I still find parts of the movie kinda funny.
I know, and I that means I know cheesy movies. The 5th Element is grade A cheesy goodness.
Here, I rest my case.
Joe, that was just awesome. Why is it labeled as a rap though?
There is nothing cheesy about The Fifth Element. :doublecolbert: It is the greatest piece of art in the field of cinema.
Starship Troopers gets my vote. Few things in life are more glorious than settling down with some beers, some bros, and Starship Troopers.
Love Actually is like one of my fav movies ever. And it's a wonderfully delicious cheese-fest.
Going to have to go with Starship Troopers as well. Also 3 Ninjas and the Mighty Ducks movies.
I'll see your Surf Ninjas and raise you Ninja Turtles movies 1 and 2.
Ninja Turtles is awesome, and while cheesy, I say less cheesy than Surf Ninjas.
I finally managed to get one of you 5th Element worshippers to crack under individual scrutiny and admit that's it's good but cheesy. I know you religious zealot types won't go against your own kind in public, but I'll take it as a personal win.
Another classic, cheesy scene I love. Witness the zany sound effects, and sight gags. It's like 3 Stooges in Space!
Zorg.
Gary Oldman rocks.
Everything is less cheesy than Surf Ninjas.
Also, did Megan fold on the Fifth Element argument? Hahaha
Is Surf Ninjas the one where the Game Gear could predict the future?
Yes! I recognized it as obnoxiously cheesy even when I was 8 or however old I was when I saw it. It was still great.
I love you guys. Surf Ninjas is awesome. :monster:
What if it was meant to be cheesy? That Kung Pow or whatever with the crazy tongue is damn cheesey on purpose.
Cool Runnings, yes.
Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get on up, it's bobsled time!
ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD
SO GOOD
Heh, Keanen and Kel (who I still watch on Nickelodeon just FYI). Finally managed to see Goodburger while on Vacation fairly recently (I know I'm late) even though I remember the small sketches on Nickelodeon with Kel's character. But, yeah it was very cheesey, even by their standards.
When I watched it I thought it looked more like the CHARACTER Keanen was playing his character in Goodburger as opposed to the ACTOR Keanen, if that makes sense.
The Exorcist
Yessss, Cool Runnings was amazing! WE ARE DA BOBSLED TEAM.
Cheesy:
Hawk the Slayer
A low rent sword and sorcery epic starring Jack Palance at his hammiest. My favorite character is the blind witch whose magical attacks include glowing bouncy balls and silly string.
Terrible:
Death to Smootchy
My favorite enjoyably bad film. A black comedy about the corrupt world behind kid's shows. Kid show hosts are portrayed as either greedy drunks/addicts, or else as hopelessly square and naive. Children's charities are run by hoodlums. It says a lot when my favorite character is the Irish mob boss.
One of the two films I've seen where Robin Williams plays a character so hateful that I always cheer when he gets beat up.
mortal kombat. the 2nd one is especially cheese ridden.
there's a 3rd hostel movie??
Sister Act 2. It is not Mary's fault she doesn't know Mary had a little lamb!
Demolition Man I love that film I've lost count of how many times I have watched it XD
