That is Omega, a super boss from final fantasy 5 who many accidentally run into, he is argueably the most powerful boss of any final fantasy, being equal with shinryu in terms of power. He has been featured in FF2 remakes as a hidden superboss. He was the inspiration for Omega weapon, and possibly ultima weapon. He was also featured as a dlc in ffxiii-2.

I would have to say yunalesca I fought that boss for like 45 minutes straight. I like the boss because you have to go from being dead to not being dead for three rounds. It was a challenge for me.

Who could forget ultros the squid lol. He was a fun boss that you would see every once in awhile.

Gotta be Malboro, nothing is as challenging as him, I remember the first time I ran into him on FFVIII... I read online that the monsters on those 2 islands (you know the ones) are extremely powerful, so I went there and saved, then fought a hexapod (I think that was his name) so he was relatively easy so I was like "meh" and put no encounters on and went about gathering all the draw points and carried on, so a few days later I decided I wanted to grind a few levels (I wanted to be 100 for when I fought Omega Weapon so he would be as strong as possible) so I thought to myself "I know! lets go to the island closest to hell and fight there" since I had already fought a Hexapod and won I didn't see the need to save my game, "No risk of my losing, that other mob was easy to kill" I thought so along I trundled and BAM first fight, a Ruby Dragon (iirc) killed him dead, second fight, BAM Malboro shows up *Bad Breath* "ok so what do I do now" I thought to myself within seconds Mr. Malboro answered my question for me with a capricious "thats right mofo, you dead" the bastard whooped me so bad it instilled a lifelong grudging respect for the giant green bastard, and I was considering fighting Omega when this, and random encounter handed my ass to me... xD
